The cottage was a perfect size for my boys (12,10,10) and I. We enjoyed all our meals on the deck (suggest going to the grocery store 20 minutes away). We bought the canopy/rafting package as an introduction to these outdoor adventures. The location made it easy for us to arrive at both without having to jump in a car. We... More

The cottage was great, we loved it. We stayed in the Earl's Ford cottage, our son loved the upstairs loft. Stayed the night before our rafting trip which was great, we were right there and didn't have to travel first thing in the morning. Stayed the night after our rafting trip which gave us plenty of opportunity to rest and... More

Stayed in Falls Creek Cottage. It was in a great location with great surroundings. Cottage was clean, neat and efficient. We knew we'd made a great pick as we grilled steaks out back and had a great meal on the beautiful patio. We bought the Canopy/ Rafting package. Had a great time with both. Our only regret is that we... More

Booked months in advance, drove 5-6 hours and arrived after hours. Everything was ready and waiting for us. We stayed in the cottages with some friends. Cottages are nice, grounds are kept and they give you a map to help you around. We did the section III whitewater trip and it was great. Perfect weather, not crowded, nice guides and... More

First camping trip ever.. :) Had the entire grounds to ourselves due to the season (Nov 9-11 2013), kitchen was very well equipped with utensils, bathrooms very clean and well kept. Yurt (426 Spoonauger) was a perfect size for us (party of two), and possibly the best view. Would love to go back with more friends.

We had booked whitewater rafting for two days, and staying at the Wildwater Chattooga Cottages seemed like a good idea. The cottages are very nice. There are two separate beds upstairs, and they can be grouped together. There were only two of us, and we did not even try the queen bed downstairs. They have all possible kitchen ware, a... More

Did not stay at the Cottages but came to spend the day at the Canopy Tour. Had a great time. It was our first time on the ziplines and it was a great introduction. The guides were awesome, the ziplinining was a blast. Our group ranged from an 11 year old to a pair of 46 year olds and we... More

The yurts, cabins/cottages, and community bathrooms are all located on Wildwater's campus. The main, brown building where you check in and gather for tours, rafting, etc is only a couple hundred yards away and is easily accessible by any two wheel drive vehicle. The area is surrounded by zip-lines and offers front row seating for spectators on the ground. Parking... More

We were pleasantly surprised by our Spoonauger yurt and its surroundings. The Spoonauger yurt is the smallest yurt available at Wildwater, and it was perfect for our party of three. The yurt had a cupola you could open and close with a special extension tool. It had three windows that could be opened or closed to your preference, plenty of... More
