It is far from the best place on the lake to eat. Big Man's has far better (Hand patted) burgers, and *hand cut) fries and Liberty Tap Room and Rusty Anchor are far better and a lot cheaper. The membership fees have become ridiculous. They originally told those that joined the membership fee would never change for original members (... More

My husband and I stayed in one of the cottages in late July. The cottage has a wonderful layout- front portch, living room which is open to the kitchen, fully size washer/dryer, large bedroom and bathroom on the main floor and a loft with 2 twin beds. Although it was just my husband and me, this would be the perfect... More

We ate here aug 2nd, you have to be a member of the resort to eat here, the membership is only $25 a month per couple let me tell its worth it cause there is really no good place to eat on lake Murray and all the other amenities you get for your membership make this worth while if you... More

Were in this area for one week for a family wedding. Towed our boat up from Florida so kids and grand kids could water ski and tube. Very nice resort, good boat ramp and docks. Acommodations were great, full kitchen and all the features of your home, including washer and dryer in your room. Even though it as been a... More

We had not been to Spinner's in years and only recently learned of it's new ownership. It was hard to believe that this was even the same place. I can not stress enough what a huge improvement the new ownership has provided lake area dwellers and vacationers. Make no mistake Spinner's is now more than deserving of it's position on... More

This resort was exactly what I needed for a quiet, relaxing time on Lake Murray. The resort was very clean (spotless) and very roomy. Plenty of room for a family with a couple of kids. The master bedroom with king bed and bathroom was downstairs and the loft upstairs had a bunkbed and an extra bathroom. The kitchen was spacious... More

We were looking for a place to stay near Columbia, and saw Lake Murray. Hard to believe there aren't more hotels on the lake closer to town, but Spinner's Resort is great. It's about 45-60 minutes from downtown Columbia, close enough if you need to go in but far enough to feel like you're really away from it all. The... More

My family spent a relaxing weekend in the cottages at Spinners Resort on Lake Murray in July/Aug. A great value and highly recommended. The cottages are modern (built 2009), large, clean, and tastefully decorated. We needed a pet friendly location and this was ideal. Beds were so comfortable. Enjoyed watching the lake from our front porch. Property owner and employees... More
