We booked a last minute trip the first week in April. We rented thru the resort. We stayed in the tennis club villas. Our unit was very nice. No complaints. Had a nice screened in porch overlooking the lagoon. Nice mounted flat screen tv for the kids. We cooked in mostly and the kitchen was fine. No bugs spotted. The... More

We have just returned from our third trip to this island - if you enjoy golf, bicycling, birdlife and a beautiful beach this is the place for you. We have stayed at the hotel as well as two different villas (1-2 bedroom apartments) all had views over the wonderful beach & personally l preferred the space & privacy of our... More

We stayed in a condo on the island and played three gorgeous courses - Turtle Point, Cougar Point and Oak Point. All the courses were in immaculate condition and could be played very comfortably as a twoball in about three and half hours. We were never paired up and often felt as if we had the courses to ourselves. Staff... More

This was my first time golfing in USA and i was not disappointed! We chose Kiawah island as it looked beautiful, but nothing prepared us for the sunrises from our ocean front apartment in Windswept. Being a touch jet lagged from the trip from the UK was not a problem when you wake up early and have the most amazing... More

We have stayed in multiple places-The Santuary, The Tennis Villas and the Maritime Villas. Every unit has been spectacular. We utilizer the shuttle on the island to take... More

I had to go to a conference there. The place is very nice and the staff treats you well! I really liked the beach though it was at the end of January and cold! It was still a very nice beach! It is not located close to town or other places so keep this in mind!

What a terrific place, quiet, peaceful and romantic! Great staff and service. The views were amazing and the beds are heaven. Greg at the front desk is a real gentleman and a gift to this resort! Scott McGohan

Second visit to Kiawah Island in two years, both for golf. This time we stayed for a week, and also used one of the Premier resort villas. Despite it being a one bedroom, it was pretty big overall, with an open plan kitchen, dining room and living room. Located next to one of the 'ponds' it had a great view,... More

This is one of the more outstanding locations of the coastal southern regions. It boasts seven golf courses, five of them open to the public. The general harmony and peace of the resort is exceptional and the staff are super friendly and helpful. We stayed in a 'villa' which is effectively one floor of an apartment building. The place itself... More

Fabulous golf, food and accommodations . You don't do any better than this. The ocean Course is a terrific test of golf and was in pristine shape. The caddies were great too. Food all over the properties was delicious. Our villa was magnificent. Spend the extra money on the Maritime Villas. Get the golf package and include breakfast at the... More
