We also had a very difficult time finding the Villa check in! FYI - check in is located across from the convention center in the Town Market area. Take the sixth right once past the gate house. If you see the sign for the Sanctuary Hotel you've gone too far. Use 5480 Sea Forest Drive, Kiawah Island, SC 29455 for... More

I came in late Friday night (2am) after a 7 hour drive to attend theconference. The GPS took us to the Sanctuary based on the address I got in my reservation email. The staff at the Sanctuary were extremely nice, and gave me appropriate directions to the Villa check in area. When we got there, it was so dark that... More

Our most sincere apologies for the experience you had while our guest at Kiawah Island Golf Resort. We pride ourselves on our service and our attention to detail and we find it extremely regretful that we did not follow through on expectations for this stay. In regards to the lighting on the island, due to the fact that the island... More

We booked a Villa for 5 days of golf. The Villa was okay but expected much better since it was on Kiawah Island. The bathroom was good, nice shower pressure and great shampoo, but the toilet was tricky to flush. The bed felt soft but it slept okay. The dishwasher leaked onto the floor when we arrived so we did... More

We stayed here in December while running the Kiawah race and I have never been so impressed with accommodations. The resort is highly reputable and although I was nervous about cost it was certainly worth every penny. I was hesitant to stay there because had it not been for the race there is no way I would have spent that... More

This was my 5th stay in Kiawah since the first visit in 2011. There were 7 of us ranging from one baby (17 months old) and six adults. We fell in love with Kiawah the first time we visited and continue to think of it as a nearly perfect place where there is literally something for everyone. This time we... More

Visited the ocean course masters week. Before booking, I requested if greens had been renovated and told that all would be good. When we got there, played with two members who were nothing short of embarrassed. The greens were a disgrace, some sort of disease. Our caddy could just say he was sorry over and over. All golf courses on... More

I spent four days here off season for a conference. I can't say enough about the natural beauty of this resort. It's gorgeous. But not for a conference. The meeting facilities were nice but small. My biggest complaint is the layout of the resort is vast and doesn't lend itself to getting together with other attendees. My condo was beautiful... More

My husband and I travel extensively, and we expected this resort to offer top-notch accommodations given the price. Our cottage (in the Night Heron area) was a mix between mid-range condo and low-end cabin, with the bathrooms in serious need of renovation. The interior was decidedly worn. Check-in time is 4:30 pm. We arrived at 3:45 and were told that... More

Every guest experience is very important to us. We regret when a guest experiences anything less than a wonderful stay. It is always our first preference to have the opportunity to correct or fix any issues while a guest is with us. Barring that, we always welcome the opportunity to work directly with a guest to resolve any dissatisfaction. We... More

Went to Kiawah island for a golf trip with my sons. Played Turtle Point, Osprey and the Ocean Course. Osprey fairways were pretty bad. Course discounted the greens fees for us. Very fair. Turtle Point greens had a greens fungus. All greens had some kind of issue. Course pro would not discount the green fee. His staff's response was "not... More

Stayed at the Windswept Villas; clean, but the décor needs updating. Service was great. The Ryder Club is a great experience; the food is great. However, I was disappointed in the golf. I played golf at Ocean and Turtle Point and the greens were in terrible shape. Turtle Point had fungus issue on most of the front nine greens and... More
