Who writes reviews like "area is so old and stinky no one wants to be there" Good grief what does that even mean? It's about a block away from the ocean which you should easily be able to figure out if you can use google. It was the cheapest place around and that's what we were looking for. It's located... Have been coming here for years. A condo. Limited availability can be worth it. Near beachfront, stores, and local restaurants. Pet friendly. Nice staff. Modest all around but the price and location cannot be beat.

This place is awful. There was construction going on and its a beach dive not a beach hotel. It's a motel if anything. The management is so rude and mean you were afraid to ask anything. There is no view, unless you like water towers. Theres no maid service, and not a very nice location. Spend the extra $$ and... More

What a wonderful place to stay! It's only one block away from the beach so you don't have to worry about parking and they are pet friendly too. Everytime we've stayed there they've welcomed our dog with open arms. The managers are onsite and they keep a great eye on things! We stayed for several weeks last summer and I... More

We rented unit #104 the 1st week of February and have mixed feelings. 1st the positive: the location for the price is good, close to restaurants, bars and the beach. They did a great job of providing supplies including beach chairs, towels, kitchen supplies, books, games, etc. You have an open view; i.e. you are not looking into the side... More

Ocean Inn isn't Wild Dunes quality but it is much cheaper and in the center of Isle of Palms. Room 203 has a decent view and porch to sit on. The queen bed is hard with the couch not much better. It's beside the police and fire department and in a safe location. It's within walking distance to Acme Lowcountry... More

After researching vacation rentals we decided on Ocean Inn for our week's stay in Isle of Palms. We knew we wanted 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms; a kitchen was a must as was walking distance to the beach. We found all of this with Ocean Inn. However, the lack of cleanliness was an issue for me.

We stayed here because we had family renting condos at Wild Dunes, and this was much more reasonably priced, especially because we were staying less than a week, and we spent most of our daytimes visiting our family in their area. The room was decent and well located, a five minute walk from the beach. It is not a typical... More

Been staying here since 1993, and have never been disappointed. Condos are spotless and management is very accommodating. Perfect for couples, families, and solo trips. Also, some of the condos are pet friendly, which was a big plus for us as we had an older dog we didn't want to board at a kennel. Highly recommend giving this awesome little... More

All the reviews on the site were right on. It was simple, good price, clean and well located. Enjoyed the little porch and the roominess. Not fancy, but a perfect beach condo. We chad a suite that had two bedrooms, two baths...great with kids!
