The good: The best beach access ever. Just step off the screened-in porch and you're on the sand. The WI-FI was adequate. The pool was a short walk away and was nice. Room access was relatively near parking/unload area. The not so good: Unable to set thermostat below 70F, kitchen was so small that refrigerator and dishwasher doors couldn't be... More

Our one bedroom condo was roomy, cozy furniture and well stocked kitchen, screened in porch and walking distance to the beach. Beach is wide and great for walking. Resort provides access to golf, tennis and bike rental for fee. Port O Call is 1 mile from center of Wild Dunes. Pretty far back so going to town is an effort.

Wild Dunes resort on Isle of Palms is my family's favorite vacation spot. We've been coming down for ten years and visited several different accommodations. This particular trip was just for my wife and me to spend a quiet valentine's weekend away - and the first time for just the two of us. We chose Port O Call because it... More

We are Hilton timeshare owners and got this place thru RCI. I have learned that only RCI gold crown locations is where I would stay as they can be average to great. Anything less is risky. Unit 302B is beach front with a marvelous view from all rooms with a porch. It also includes a spiral staircase to an upper... More

We are just ending a week's stay in C202. It's been a nice vacation and we've enjoyed our stay here. Proximity to the beach was foremost in our criteria and this unit certainly fulfills this. The furnishings are comfortable and the kitchen is updated. We had an issue of water dripping from one of the air conditioner vents the morning... More

Place was clean and it had a manageable pool. It also had a wonderful beach area. Quiet condos. We stayed in B-301 looking right over the ocean/beach. Tough view to beat. If you want a small place right on the ocean, this is a great place. These 1 bedroom 1 bath condos have plenty of room if you can handle... More

We stayed at Port O Call building G, unit 201. It was just wonderful. Although it was advertised as ocean view, the views of the ocean from the porch, bedroom and living room were spectacular. The unit was very nicely decorated and very clean and comfortable. My only complaint is that the kitchen is very small and to make things... More

Location is wonderful. A few steps and you are on the beach. Our unit had maintenance issues (torn door screen on screened porch and gaps around all screens .....if it were bug season we would have been miserable); slow drains; shower fixture felt like it would come apart with much more use. This is a 3-story wood structure which is... More

Pros: Very close to ocean, great views from top deck, clean overall, grounds in excellent condition. Kitchen and bathroom were clean and, apparently, renovated. Very quiet (October). Cons: HUGE SAFETY PROBLEM; Door locks require a code. I learned that management only changes the code once or twice a year, so anyone who has stayed there before, or their friends, can... More

We stayed in a condo that has a porch which steps onto the sand. Amazing! We enjoyed the porch so much that we ate every meal there as well as napped. The porch made the trip extra special since we don't like sitting on the beach all day. The positioning of the porch also meant we had shade all day!... More
