We chose the Sea Island Grille for our first night of Charleston Restaurant Week, and it set the standard which was not matched by the other restaurants we visited. The wreck fish was wonderful and I would suggest it to anyone who is undecided about what to order.

We had a large group of about 150 people & I think we all had a good time. We stayed in the Villages, which is a condo/ nice room that has a nice king size bed, microwave, fridge, & is well appointed. The closet has no light which makes it somewhat difficult to see. The food at the banquet was... More

We booked our 2-night stay just an hour before arriving. Staff was more than accommodating and even upgraded our room at the Villages. Pools and beach are close enough and the set up is beautiful. Drinks at the pool are large so that's always good! Like other reviewers mentioned, I would try to bring your own beach chair and umbrella... More

I really want to give this resort a 5 stars but I just can't. My husband and I decided to stay at Wild Dunes after recommendations from a friend and online reviews. When we arrived it was late, dark and very confusing. We had to ask for directions on where to go when we first arrived and somehow managed to... More

I was born and raised in Charleston and moved away for my job. My wife and I return often to visit family. I have never stayed at Wild Dunes so my wife and I decided to take 4 days/3 nights to check it out. I was expecting a high class resort. Wild Dunes is certainly very nice but not 5... More

We stayed four nights at a condo (Mariners Walk 1B) at Wild Dunes. The check in procedure and check out procedure went smoothly. Can't get into the rooms or condos until 4:00 p.m. but need to check out by 10:00. Thought that was a bit strange. Accomodations were nice. Everything we needed was there. We had beach chairs set up... More

You can't get any better than this. It is especially great for families, golfers and tennis players. It offers two spectacular golf courses, two ocean pools and many others dotted throughout the gated community. The hotel is lovely and every effort is made to make you want this to be your destination family vacation. And let's not forget sullivans island,... More

We booked a villa for a family of four. The room was nice, once we got it. They said we should be able to check in early, so we travelled with our two year old there a couple hours early. When we got there, they said that housekeeping was in the villa and it should be ready "shortly". Three hours... More

Wild Dunes on the Isle of Palms is about 30 minutes from Charleston. We usually stay at the Sanctuary on Kiawah Island which is right outside of Charleston and an outstanding property, but because of our last minute plans it was booked. Still we were not that disappointed, in fact it worked for us as a nice change of pace... More
