I don't get all the praise people give this place. The beach is tiny and insignificant. Our room did not have a fully functional shower for the two nights we stayed. We called for maintenance. Man came and looked at shower, left, and never returned to fix it. When we told guest services about this at check-out, they took a... More

Wild Dunes' beach umbrellas are imprinted with the phrase "Charleston's Island Resort," and a very nice resort it is! We spent two nights @ the Boardwalk Inn in a very spacious room on the fifth floor. The furnishings were comfortable and upscale. The Inn's pool is for adults only from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and very relaxing and quiet.... More

4 night stay late August. Beautiful, clean and spacious beach. Clean, comfortable, well stocked room. Multiple and diverse recreational and comfort amenities facilitated by knowledgeable and friendly staff. Very accessible to Charleston and the Low Country sites and opportunities. This resort enabled one of my best vacation experiences in many years. I will return to Wild dunes in the future.... More

This is the second time I have stayed at the resort. I had a great experience the first time. This time not so much. The guy at check in and the valet on check in were the only friendly employees. The village room felt pasted it's prime. The door to the lavatory would stick and it was difficult to get... More

For our second year in a row, we chose Wild Dunes for our family vacation. This year we stayed in Ocean Club two story condos! Our view of the beach was gorgeous and the daily pelican "fly bys" were breathtaking:) Our cover porch's view felt like we were floating over the ocean! We were entertained by the sand renourishment project... More

This was our second visit to Wild Dunes for a long weekend, traveled Wed 8/20 - Sunday 8/24. Last year we rented a condo in Port o Call and decided to give the Village a try. Traveling as a couple, no children. The description online for the Village 1 bedroom appeared to be comparable to the condo options in terms... More

Wild Dunes did not live up to expectations. Our stay at the hotel was littered with customer service issues that disappointed us and affected our visit in a negative way. For example, we purchased the breakfast package, which allowed us to eat in the hotel restaurant every day. We went yesterday to sit down for breakfast. The restaurant hostess told... More

This is our 3rd year going to Wild Dunes Resort. Great customer service, accommodations and activities. Kid friendly and relaxing. Highly recommended this for families. Don't miss the beautiful sunsets.

We enjoyed every facet of our stay at Wild Dunes Resort!! The staff, bell assistants, and amenities could not have been better! We appreciated the fact that they recycle. Also, we appreciated the three outside pools. We weren't limited to one pool as other places.

Lovely, spacious one bedroom apartment in the village provided a great vacation for my family. Wonderful amenities, pool, beach. A bit crowded, which made for long waits for food pool-side, but who can blame families for visiting in droves?! Loved it!
