Great place to stay with a family. Pool, private fishing pier, and right on the island's main strip of shops and restaurants. TV in the bedroom wasn't working but who needs tv at the beach. The one in the living room worked fine anyway. Perfect for families with kids of all ages.

I have been going to Sea Cabins since I was a teenager; it is a special place for our family. My Mom is in her 70s now, and my sister and I booked a condo for her. Unfortunately, health issues surfaced and Mom was not able to go. The insurance we purchased would not cover the illness, but Allison at... More

We stayed in unit 311C and the queen sized bed was terrible. It was very uncomfortable and shook whenever someone moved. The kids were disappointed that the pool was closed and that fact was never mentioned in the listing. The condo complex was adequate for a couple of days. It was in a great location right across from the beach,... More

We have stayed at Sea Cabins for the past 8 years. I personally have been there 12 times in the last 8 years with different members of my family. We loved staying here...until the last year. A new company has taken over ownership and the cleanliness of the place has gone downhill considerably. Also, the staff that once were accommodating... More

A fresh ocean resort perfect for families or couples. Great food and entertainment without the congestion of bigger resorts. Also the wonderful Spoleto Festival is in Charleston, SC during those two weeks!

Love this place. I've stayed here twice now and this is a fantastic unit. The view is fantastic. The furnishing are up-to-date and the condo is always clean. I would highly recommend this unit to anyone. It has one bedroom, with a queen bed. There are two bunk beds in the entry way, and a fold out couch. I haven't... More

From vacationing with other couples during the last few years, we have seen at least five units in Building C in this complex. Up until now we have been satisfied with the overall condition of the units (especially 314C last year, but no longer available). The unit this year was 316 in Building C. The bottom line, gross; old and... More

Went for a ladies weekend. One bedroom on the first floor, cabin 125. It was ok. As other reviewers mentioned, it's a wonderful location to walk to restaurants on IOP though keep in mind that they appear to all be individually owned. Pay attention to the ranking that each unit receives that range from standard to good to deluxe. The... More

I booked through VRBO and should have known better since the most recent review was in 2012. The unit clearly has water damage that needs attention. Peeling wallpaper with black mold underneath. Water stains on the popcorn ceiling. The bedding was just gross and prompted a $70 trip to Target for blankets and pillows. Not really a comfortable place to... More

We stayed in 211 and it was clean, well-furnished and right on the beach practically. The second floor is best because of what a previous reviewer wrote about it being a perfect balance between view and stairs to climb. I know cabins are individually owned and ours was well maintained. Such a nice view of the beach and pier in... More
