We live in South Carolina and love taking a few days and spoiling ourselves at this Island hotel. The rooms are lovely and the ocean is right out the door. Sometimes we head to Charleston or Mount Pleasant for dinner, but excellent choices are within a few miles of the Inn. Sometimes we choose to golf at the resorts beautiful... More

We recently stayed here for my son's baseball tournament. Lots of activities for all: tennis, golf, fishing, beach, pools, bike riding, etc. It has enough of a village feel such that we felt comfortable letting 15 yr. old boys come and go to some degree. Not inexpensive, but you get what you pay for. Unfortunate beach erosion has caused many,... More

Seriously. Save your money and stay off property. You could find a much nicer place for much less. The prices at Wild Dunes have become ridiculous over the last couple of years. I can understand high prices for a resort, but FOUR DOLLARS for a Small bottle of water? Are you kidding me? Some of their prices are higher than... More

This resort had lovely clean rooms, easy access to the beach and pools and decent restaurants. We stayed for two nights in mid March and resided in a two bedroom/2 bathroom condo apartment with a lovely balcony, full kitchen, washer/dryer and other amenities. This place must be hopping in the summertime and is conveniently located just about 25 minutes from Charleston... Wild Dunes Hotel and Resort is a great place for a family beach vacation. The beaches are clean, beautiful and not too crowded, and the pool areas are lovely. The resort offers a wide selection of activities for the family, including golf, tennis and biking. The location of the resort makes it possible to plan a day trip or dinner... More

went to a conference I have been to before but usually stay at another hotel a few miles away. Very joyless place. Overpriced even at conference prices. Hotel room was dull, viewless, no balcony. Room Service was slow (told 1 hour, was 1 1/2 hours) and food was no longer hot and not very good. Breakfast overpriced and disappointing. Did... More

While the condo itself was nicely located and decorated cute and beachy. It could have used a more thorough scrubbing, it seemed over due in that area. I do have a very high standard of clean so keep that in mind. It was generally clean and if a little dingy appearance does not bother you then this is your place.... More

Stayed at a house. Plenty of options to rent various properties or stay at hotel. Place is fabulous. Great for families. This was my 4th trip to the area in 5 years. We were thinking about visiting again in November.

Way over-rated. Old and stained furniture in the rooms which are totally outdated with ratty furniture and filthy carpets. The bathroom was decent. TV didn't work until i complained (twice). Pools are very poor especially the ones right out front of the restaurant. The others by the bar are small and you can't ever get a seat ;they need more... More
