We stayed at The Village at Wild Dunes for two days and one night. Our preference was to stay at the Boardwalk Inn but there was not availability so we stayed at the Village. We had a fabulous time - great weather, enjoyed the beach both days, nice facility and stayed in a room w/balcony. We ate at Hudson's Market... More

The best thing going for this resort is what Mother Nature provides for free: The beach and surf: perfect for swimming and body surfing. We visited the resort during the summer and I have never had more fun in the ocean, than in the surf of Isle of Palms. Our family reunion occurred in one of the big beach houses... More

Stayed here many times (4+). Always enjoyable beautiful spot. Can be pricey during high demand season, but what ocean property with beach isn't. Some owners need to update their accommodations but that is no fault of wild dunes and other rental agencies. Nearby walmart, target and grocery stores to help defer costs of food if chose to eat in. Beach... More

Went to Charleston SC for the 1st time with my Church's woman’s ministry & stood at Wild Dunes Resort on Isle of Palms. The home that me & 7 other friends stood at was nice but not as modernly updated as other homes from our fellow church members stayed at. Hopefully some owners would update their homes to the now... Imagine a family vacation that combines the charm of Charleston and the allure of a pristine barrier island beach resort! That's Wild Dunes, in Isle of Palms, SC, 15 miles NE of Charleston. The resort property is HUGE, with hundreds of nifty rental condos and cottages, and four-star hotel properties, with a wonderful beach, heated swimming pools, luxurious spa, and... More

We stayed for a week. Enjoyed both golf courses, eating in the hotel, the resort, mount pleasant malls and Charleston. The room spacious, with a small fridge. Coffee available before 0900 in the morning, water in the lobby for the rest of the day, nice eco feature with a 5 dollar voucher if you didn't want your room cleaned that... More

The Boardwalk Inn is a nice enough hotel. The building is starting to show its age. It trained a couple of days during our stay and there were bucks in the lobby to catch water from the leaky ceiling. The staff were not overly accommodating. Every meeting I came down for coffee and found either the coffee empty or the... More

We loved it! Very clean, comfortable and more than what we expected. It was great for a family of six.the staff were very helpful and service was good. The place is huge. The grounds are kept nicely manicured. We would definitely stay another summer again.

Stayed with family at the Villages in Wild Dunes Resort for a wedding in Charleston. There aren't a lot of options for a weekend stay at the beach in Charleston. Room was fine but a decent walk to the beach. That said, the beach was terrific only saw about 20 families, although it is the off season. Location to historic... More

We live in South Carolina and love taking a few days and spoiling ourselves at this Island hotel. The rooms are lovely and the ocean is right out the door. Sometimes we head to Charleston or Mount Pleasant for dinner, but excellent choices are within a few miles of the Inn. Sometimes we choose to golf at the resorts beautiful... More
