We were pleased with the location, just walk out to the beach (couldn't have asked for better location), but the size of room for the amount we had to pay was ridiculous! Free breakfast, (milk & bagels) that's a joke, area for breakfast was as ridiculous as room size. The swimming pool is smaller than my bathtub, one jump in... more

If you want an Isle of Palms hotel, the Seaside Inn is in a great location - right on the beach. The rooms are adequate and there was a microwave and small fridge in the room. But we had two signifcant problems. The first was the noise. There is a restaurant two doors down with live music which made watching... more

It's not fancy, but it's clean and you can get a room for $57-$139 depending on the season and day of week. Mainly, it's BEACHFRONT. There literally are *only 3* beachfront hotels for all 3 of the closest beaches surrounding Charleston: The Holiday Inn on Folly Beach, nothing on Sullivan's (against the island's rules), and on Isle of Palms the... more

We thouroughly enjoyed our stay. Hotel was very nice. Clean rooms and very helpful staff. Can't say enough about the beach location. Walk out of your room and onto the beach, what could be better. We enjoyed a couple of restaurants just a few doors down from the hotel, never had to get in the car while we were here.... more

We also got the internet special and the pictures on the internet make the hotel look so nice, but in reality it was a dump! The room was so small, whoever renovated the bathroom did not know what they were doing. Mold was all over the bathroom walls- I think there was also some Serratia going on on the walls... more

Please visit our website for accurate pictures of this beautiful seaside inn on the beach. This is a small, quaint inn located beachfront with a friendly and capable staff. We are fortunate to have many repeat guests who appreciate the ambiance of the inn and the proximity to the beach, shops and restaurants.

We went to Charleston for a getaway over Easter Weekend with another couple. My friend wanted to stay on the beach, so she chose the Seaside Inn as they were running a special( 89.00 per night) and said that they were renovated. First off when we got there, we had to walk up a bunch of stairs to get to... more

We encourage you to look at our website for information and pictures of this beautiful seaside inn. We are beachfront and occupy a little piece of sand among shops and restaurants. As there are no parking lots on the beach (on purpose), ours is located just across the street, however we do have a loading zone right in front of...

The location of Seaside Inn cannot be beat. It's awesome to be right on the beach. Rooms were tiny (but adequate) and it's obvious that the bathroom had recently been remodeled, due to the trendy brushed copper fixtures. The television was tiny, which would never be a problem in the summer.. but in the off season it would have been... more

The review is actually rather complimentary> Comfortable beds, remodeled rooms, great beachside location. Fortunately, our guests love the location, the amenities, the proximity to great restaurants, and the nightlife this area has to offer. I can understand the comments regarding the noise, though. Most of our guests do act with consideration for their fellow guests, however once in awhile...

We were on a small trip to Charleston and wanted a hotel room near the beach. Sea Side Inn appeared to be a good deal. We got a Non Ocean View Room with 2 Queen Beds for around $60 per night including taxes and everything - AAA rates. The hotel looked fabulous in the night and we were impressed with... more

I booked this hotel using their website. Since I belong to AARP, then I got a great deal. It is off-season too, so that helped. actually paid for two nights about $119.00 with taxes. Upon arrival, I was unsure where to park, so I found what they consider is 'street parking.' There was parking for compact cars below the hotel,... more

We loved Isle of Palms from earlier visits, so opted to stay on the ocean for a New Year's getaway. Rates looked good and it WAS and oceanfront room but...the room barely accommodated the queen bed, but best of all, the oceanfront balcony was accessible to everyone of the floor. So trying to lay in bed and listen to the... more
