We stayed for 5 days beginning of July. We had a nice room with oceanview and balcony. We also rented chairs and umbrella at the hotel beach (extra costs but only 3 minutes walking distance from our room). Breakfast was good, room service was ok. Hilton did a very nice job with this one. The weather cooperated and the beach was clean. We enjoyed daily bike rides, the pool and the beach. There are lots of restaurants on the island and mainland if you care to venture off the Hilton or Palmetto Dunes properties. Can't think of a single drawback.The room was spacious and clean.The adult pool was a few steps from the beach itself, so you could have a pool/beach combo experience. The staff was very courteous and helpful. Plenty of bike trails if you like to jog or pedal ; the beach is wide and packed sand - perfect for any activities. more
