My husband and I and our adult children stayed at Barony Beach 6/28/09 - 7/5/09. We are multiple week Marriott Vacation Club owners and traded into Barony Beach. I did my research ahead of time so I expected to be put in the Garden Villas. We were given a pool view room on the 1st floor in the Jasmine building.... more

We are Vacation Club Owners and swapped into the Barony for a trip to HHI. This is our third trip to HHI and our first and last at Barony. Before we booked/swapped we looked at the Barony Marriott site and saw it said 'Atlantic Ocean on-site' so we were pretty excited. We called and asked about the possibility of getting... more

Just returned from our 9th year going to Barony Beach Club in Port Royal on Hilton Head Island. We have never been disappointed with our week on HHI -- the rooms have always been in great shape, service is excellent and you're never short on things to do. Golf, tennis and bike riding are the main activities. A few things... more

I was very impressed with the quality of the villas. We stayed in a courtyard view (the lowest price) and I was afraid we’d have a view of a parking lot or maintenance depot, but instead we had a beautiful view of the garden pool area. All of the villas face inward, so no units should have bad views. The... more

Overall, we had a great time in Hilton Head but I do not believe that had anything to do with the Barony Beach Resort. We are MVC owners in Vegas and traded our week into the Barony. ROOMS: We had request eda high floor room with an oceanview. I had been told that those were normally taken by owners but... more

We stayed at the barony Beach Club the week of Memorial Day for three nights (Tues-Fri). Our stay was great. While we did not participate in any of the resort activities, we had fun just relaxing at the pool with the beach view (we were in Morning Glory). There are lots of pools and jacuzzis to choose from and easy... more

We have been a Marriott owner for 8 years and presently own in Aruba. We thought of upgrading to Ocean front but after ths week decided not to and we are even considering the sale of this property. We purposely booked this week so there would not be as many children. When trying to relax at the pool over the... more

Our 1 week stay at the Barony Beach Club was simply wonderful; the entire property is lush, tropical, and beautiful. Our oceanfront room was perfect for us, our 3 children, and my 76 yr old mother. The staff was always courteous and helpful when needed. The rooms are beautiful and equipped with everything we needed. The beds were heavenly as... more

This was our second stay. We had an oceanfront suite which really slept my family of 5 so comfortable. Room is like your typical condo. The stay was a bit better in February when there were less people there. I think they didn't up the staff enough. Room was getting cleaned until almost 5pm some days. Any help that was... more

My sister, son, my dad, and I spent my 40th birthday at the Marriott Barony property during the inauguration. It was great. The reviews on tripadvisor were very helpful. The staff was outstanding and no request was left unattended. We had a wonderful view. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. It was a wonderful stay and I know that we... more
