The great thing about the HI Oceanfront is the location. There are MANY places to eat and shop within walking distance (including a small grocery store) and access to the beach is unbeatable on the island. The city is even building a really nice "boardwalk" style access to the beach beside the hotel. The hotel itself is a different story.... more

This hotel is one of a handful of hotels that are actually oceanfront in Hilton Head, SC. Most of the beachfront property seems to be private houses and condominiums. You can walk out to the beach right behind the hotel, but be aware that it is next to the public access area that is a very crowded section of sand.... more
