Port O' Call is located right where you want to be...close to everything. My wife and I had a large 2 bedroom (in case we had our children with us) next to the activity center and pool. I must say that i was concerned it would be noisy in this location, but after 10pm it was nice and quiet. Some... More

First of all, the mistake. Back in September we made a reservation for Port O' Call for a one bedroom. Port O' Call is only one of a few resorts that offer a one bedroom, if you are able to catch one. But this is our second visit to Hilton Head Island. The first time we came to Hilton Head... More

We spent two weeks here on vacation, in a three bedroom cottage. We were RCI points exchangers, and so our stay was split between two separate cottages, in two entirely different locations. This would be my only serious concern for other customers looking to stay at Port O'Call for the first time. It is best to be aware that units... More

We were invited to share friends' timeshare condo at Port O'Call in March. Unfortunately the weather was terrible so I can't speak to the outdoor amenities at Shipyard Plantation (in which Port O'Call is located), but the condo itself was okay. I don't have the unit number so not sure how helpful this will be, since my understanding is that... More

Been going to Port O'Call for years and it's always a delight to arrive and we feel refreshed when we leave. Central location to the big round about makes it easy to get around. You can walk to the beach and Coligny Plaza is just slightly farther to walk with restaurants, movie theater and shops. If you have kids, it's... More

We certainly enjoyed our stay at Port O'Call Shipyard Plantation. Very quiet place for relaxing. Everything was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Plan on going back next year. The unit we were in was a one bedroom, very large room and bath. Enjoyed two rounds of golf.

There are many good things about the resort that have already been mentioned. I will add a couple observations. I would prefer there be a fitness center on site. We had access to another fitness center at Coral Sands about one mile away, but it would be more convenient to have one on site. There are two pools, only one... More

We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit at Port o'Call and found the location was convenient and surroundings were well maintained. Lovely entrance and decorated with lights and ornaments for Christmas. The unit was large and comfortable with a screened in balcony. The kitchen was very well equipped and had all appliances from a dishwasher to a blender. The only... More

We used this resort via RCI exchange. Let me start by saying this is NOT a gold crown resort, despite what RCI claims. They seem to label a lot of resorts "gold crown", I would like to know what criteria they use for such designations. The resort is conveniently located, close to the beautiful beach. The check in was a... More

Stayed for a week in a 3 BR unit on the top floor of a condo building. That unit was lovely, private and spacious, equipped with everything you might need. The area is great and with a rental car we were able to travel to both Savannah, GA and Charleston, SC (staying overnight in Charleston). The top floor condo was... More
