Hilton Head Oceanfront Rentals rented Shorewood Villa unit #511 to us (family of four) for two weeks (7/10/04 – 7/24/04). Below is a list of the problems we encountered upon arrival and reported to Craig Lester, Emmy, Nancy and Karen at Hilton Head Oceanfront Rentals:

1.The unit was dirty and had not been thoroughly cleaned.
2.Refrigerator had fish remains inside and smelled horrible.
3.The dust was so thick on top of the refrigerator, I could write my name.
4.Used styrofoam bowls were found in the master bedroom in the night stand and under the bed.
5.My 13 year old son found 15 condoms in his dresser that had been left by previous tenants.
6.The bedspread in the master bedroom had a large brown stain.
7.The hide-a-bed in the living room had not been cleaned and smelled of urine. My children refused to sit or sleep on it. Finally replaced sofa bed on Wednesday, July 14….4 days after we checked in!!!
