The Westin is by far the best hotel in Greenville. The rooms are large, a bit dated, but with the hevenly beds, who cares! The staff is great, the front desk, bartender, room service, everybody. It is a bummer that you have to pay for internet use, but it is common at better hotels. Highly recommend!! more

Without question, the Westin Poinsett is the best place to stay in Greenville. I stayed here for 2 nights in May for wedding related events. There was a little mix-up with the rooms but the Room Coordinator got it straightened out (luckily). The bed was extremely comfortable! The Westin Poinsett is an absolute hidden gem! I was totally impressed with the location, the professional and friendly staff, the plush and luxurious beds and the elegance of the hotel. Although everything at this hotel seemed to be top notch, aside from the only average rooms (it's an old building so I didn't expect much), the hotel staff was absolutely abysmal. A decent old hotel that needs some sprucing up. Great location in downtown Greenville close to good restaurants, the Peace Center, the beautiful river park, and lots of street action. Ask for a room away from Main Street and high up, in the back for mountain views. more
