We would never stay here again. It is the dirtiest establishment I have ever stayed in in my entire life! Wish I could say it was just my unit, but we rented FIVE and each was equally nasty. It is a disgrace ...the brochures and advertisements in no way live up to the quality...there is no quality, nor was it... More

We spent Memorial Day weekend at Waters Edge. Two couples shared a one bedroom condo. It is true that the units are individually owned, so it is difficult to use a review guide for the units. The unit we stayed in was in need of renovations. It was not bad but at $200 a night we expected more, but remember... More

We were up in the air for a family school vacation trip tossing between Tampa and Myrtle Beach, having visited both. A last minute decision landed us in SC. opting for the shorter drive. We found Garden City a nice alternative to busier Myrtle Beach. Apparently the beach had just gone through a renourishment, offering tons of new sand and... More

Not bad at all, for the price we were worried. We had a 1 bedroom efficiency with two fold out couches. There were 4 adults and two young children staying and the price was $179/night.The room was clean and decorated circa 1982, but a full size frige and a dish washer deffinately made up for that. The view was nice... More

This place is a dump! The condo was inexpensive (I guess you get what you pay for). Very outdated, closet doors coming off, dresser drawers falling apart. Spend a little more and get something nice.

I hope our public will be delighted to hear that Waters Edge spent $1,000,000 this year installing new elevators, generator, boiler, fire alarm system, as well as a complete remodel of our pool, pool deck and pool furniture. In addition 41 of our owners renovated this year. We hope the public will enjoy the improvements at Waters Edge Resort. More

Good: We stayed in condo #1405, which is absolutely beautiful! The private owner has recently updated the condo and it was great. Very spacious and felt like home. I loved the large balcony, we were a little skeptical about being on the 14th floor, but I have to say, the view was absolutely amazing! The condo itself we found on... More

Stayed in unit # 1206, 7/28 - 8/4. Unit was clean when we got there. Nice furniture inside and out on the balcony. I've read bad and good reviews about this place and it seems like it depends on the unit you get and how the owner of the unit takes care of it as to if you will be... More

This vacation can only be compared to a bad Chevy Chase Vacation adventure. My in-laws have been staying here for almost 20 years, and my best guess is that this was a great place...20 years ago. All condos are oceanfront, so you do enjoy that benefit. That is about where the fun stops. To highlight our trouble: While each unit... More

We were skeptical of our stay after reading some of the other reviews, but went anyway. Our condo was VERY outdated - BEDROOM-cracks in the ceiling, holes in the walls, drawers would fall out if you tried to open them, closet had musky smell (my son told my husband he smelled like an old man), carpet was dirty. BATHROOMS-looked like... More

Since so many agencies rent different condominiums in our building, we are unable to pin down which unit this guest stayed in. We try to keep the units managed by Waters Edge Resort in good condition but are unable to control the condition of units rented by other agencies. More

Family just returned from Water's Edge. Unit 1203 was just purchased by new owner and fixed up. All brand new appliances. I definately recommend the hotel. Kids, even my 17 year old daughter enjoyed herself there. We will indeed return again soon!
