My wife and I stayed here in a travel trailer. She had work to do in Charlotte and I got to hang out for 4 days. Despite arriving in the middle of the afternoon, the registration office was closed and we were redirected to the Valero gas station nearby. They put us in a spot that was challenging to back... It's location is why we picked this campground. We went to Carowinds and it was not to far from the park with a great price. The campgrounds where clean and had a dog park. The pool was close at this time of year. But the mini golf and playground was not usable. But over all it was a nice place.... More

The wife and I stayed in the long term section for 10 months (2013-2014) while working on a contract in Charlotte, NC. The long term rate was very reasonable ($450/month). It is a nice park overall but, service can be lacking at times. It is quite most of the year, even when full. There is a little more activity as... More

It is what it is. This campground is great for the traveler passing through on their way south or north. Super clean restroom, bathhouse, laundry. Well maintained sites. Publix grocery store and pharmacy right next door. The RV sales & service place is at first glance totally unimpressive (no fancy storefront or flashy displays), but we found they have everything... Someone recently posted that you can hear airplanes. This campground isn't even close to the airport to hear airplanes, continuously. The airport is 35 minutes away! So that's false. Rates are 35-38 plus tax weekend/weekdays. Not 50.oo during winter. Nice place to stay for overnight. Close to dining and shopping.

You hear planes Continuously! Campground is Very noisy! Very small spots even when combined as pull thru site! Save your $50 and stay somewhere else. Very busy area. Nothing that is in amenities is open!

This campground is just off I-77 so is perfect for stopping for the night. The sites are very small with a picnic table. Gravel and concrete pads for the most part. The host led us to the site once we checked in which was quick and efficient. It was not the cheapest campground at $44 a night, but Fort Mills... More

We recently visited Charlotte and having just purchased our RV decided on this K.O.A site. Arriving quite late after a 7 and a half hour journey, the friendly girl in the office checked us in very quickly and although novices we were set up ready to eat. Before we could BBQ, we soon realised we needed a lighter, so walked... More

We stayed for a single night. The cabins are close together, with no fire pit - and just a single parking place in front of the cabin itself. The bathrooms are recently renovated, and are very nice. You have to key in an entry key though, which is the first time I've seen this at a KOA. There is a... More

Sites are very close together. No place to park car. Gravel roads. Short concrete pads. Not good amperage. Couldnt run air and dryer. Pool in need of major repair.. Busted concrete edges. Black mold on all sides of pool. Health issue!!
