We stayed at Beachside to celebrate our 10 year anniversary a few weeks ago. For us, it was perfect. We wanted a place that was in a great location and was very clean and cozy. We stayed in the Shabby Chic room and although it was small, it slept 2 very comfortably. We were amazed at how QUIET the main... More

We defiantly lucked out finding this place to stay on our vacation. GREAT location, we walked to the beach and local restaurants everyday. Ginger was wonderful and did everything to make sure our vacation was the best. The breakfast she made every morning was delicious and the little touches like music at the tiki bar, candle lit at night and... More

My husband and I just left Folly Beach and the beautiful Costa Rican Bungalow at Beachside BnB, and loved every minute of our stay! This was an early birthday celebration for me, and we chose the room because my first choice for a birthday trip (Costa Rica for real) is out of reach for now. It was a perfect substitution.... More

This is a really cute bed and breakfast near Folly Beach with some nice amenities. We were only in town for one night, and if you're just coming for a night, or for a girls weekend, it's probably fine. There were a couple of things that threw me off: one, there is no door to the bathroom in the Shabby... More

We are very sorry that you found the accommodations less than you expected. This is why we urge our guests to do the research online, either by descriptions on our website and/or by reading TripAdvisor reviews. Those that want a private romantic getaway for one night may choose our Costa Rican Bungalow in which most guests are perfectly satisfied. Otherwise,... More

Enjoyed our 3 day stay at this cute, cool beach bungalow digs. Ginger is super sweet and genuinely cares about her guests' experience. She was not only a great cook and geared our breakfasts toward our low carb diet, but provided every service a fine concierge would, offering us info on the best music & eatery which were all within... My partner and I were guests (costa rican bungalow ) during our honeymoon road trip down south. The bungalow was super chic! And the large porch was much to our liking! Breakfast was nice and Ginger (a great hostess) is willing and able to accommodate dietary restrictions if you let her know:). They have fun town bikes available for guests... More

Thank you for the great review. I wish you had told me it was your honeymoon! We would have done something special for you for sure! Champagne, Chocolate dipped strawberries, heart shaped pancakes or something! Yes, we do try to advertise being gay friendly when it is an option on various sites. It is funny that you brought that up... More

This place was ideal. The ambiance, service, and cleanliness were tops. It was so relaxing, and we had such a warm welcome. I will choose this place from now on. I have stayed at many oceanfront places here, but this brought me back in time to the original beach houses you read about in novels of Folly Bech (there are... More

This was one of the best B&Bs I have ever stayed not stiff with a doily explosion. Perfect for the beach. Tucked away in a moderately populated area due to tourism. Very cozy, modern, laid back, beautiful, and convenient to the beach.

Just what I was hoping for! Small, cozy, laid back, with quality breakfast. Reasonably priced island style B&B with great location near town. Ginger was easy to work with and I look forward to staying here again.

If you are considering a Charleston visit and do not want to stay in the city Beachside Bed and Breakfast on Folly Beach is a very good choice. It is a beach style B&B so if you are looking for a "New England" style restored inn this is not for you. We stayed in the Costa Rica Bungalow which I... More
