My family has used this hotel for about 6 years on our twice annual pilgrimage to Florida. It perfectly located and has been a welcome, comfortable, familiar stop that we have looked foward too. Unfortunately as happens the service and quality has begun to suffer over the last couple of years. We have been able to adjust because the positives... more

We used this hotel as a stop-over between DC and Orlando and it was absolutely fine. Rooms are big, functional and clean. The Staff were friendly and there are enough restaurants nearby to meet most tastes. On the downside the beds are small and breakfast was extremely basic, but at 75$ for a room that sleeps 4, can you really... more

My family and I stayed one night while traveling through the area. From the moment we walked in the door, the staff was smiling and very friendly. The room was clean and the breakfast in the morning was great. I usually find the Springhill and Marriott hotels a great value and again, I was not disappointed. more

We hadn't plan to stop on the way to the beach, but a torrential rainstorm made us change our mind. We stopped and stayed overnight at this hotel and it was great. An oasis of a hotel with lack of many other choices. I am really glad Marriott offered this level of hotel here. more

This hotel is pretty much what you'd expect from a Marriott chain; clean rooms, good location and courteous service. My only complaint about this particular property has to do with some of the second floor rooms and the curtains that won't close. With a big, bright street lamp illuminating the parking lot below, the light pretty much floods the room... more

We stayed here for one night on the way to Hilton Head. The rooms are ok. Standard suite. Exept for the huge TV. (ok maybe it's a little above standard) The bathroom in the room was really small though. It felt like a closet. They could make them a little bigger on account of the room was big. There was... more

Our family of 4 stayed here as a stopping off point on our way to Hilton Head. It is in a good location with easy access to I-95. The lobby is attractive and the staff are friendly. They even have a reasonably priced "store" for a drink to unwind after a long day of driving. However, the rooms are not... more

This hotel is definitely not up to Marriott standards. The staff was very courteous but that was about the only positive aspect of our stay. Upon opening the door to our room we were hit with a terrible "sour" smell which I thought I could deal with as we were very tired after a day of travelling. HOWEVER, when I... more

My wife and I stayed here for one night in July of 2007. The room was clean and comfortable. However, it is debatable as to whether you can really call this a suite. It's more like one large room with a partial divider between the room with the bed and a sitting area. A single tv is shared between the... more

This is a very nice, clean property. The room was large, with a comfortable bed. Bathroom and dressing area was roomy. Breakfast was very good - nice selection. My son enjoyed the indoor pool. The hotel was secure and you needed your room key to enter doorways. Overall - great place to stay when you need to stop for the... more
