The only positive thing about this place is the view and the surroundings.. When I came they told me that I had not booked any room despite I had the confirmation with me on paper. I stayed for 3 nights and 2 of the nigths in the middle of the night some guests knocked on my door. They were going... More

A good place to stay for 2 nights. We walked up to Holywell National Park- about 7 miles there and back along the road. The road is very quiet with only about 1 vehicle per hour so very easy. to do but you could hitch hike. As we had no car we hitched a lift down to Papine the day... More

I love this place. I stayed here just for 1 night, but if in the future I'll come back to Jamaica, Mount edge will be my first choice, for more than 1 night. the place is incredible, everything in this place is special. If you u want chilled yourself, have a wonderful Kingston view or have a tour in the... More

I was looking forward to staying here but unfortunately left disappointed. The pick up the guest house said they would arrange was two hours late leaving us stuck frustrated in Kingston bus station. The guest house arranged to pay the driver to make up for it and mistakes happen so that was okay. The driver was friendly. The room we... More

Staying at Mount Edge was definitely the highlight of my 2 weeks stay in Jamaica. The facilities are very basic but adds to the experience of appreciating the beauty that is the Blue Mountains. The food is a must try. Kudos to the chef! The food (esp the fish) was the best I had in Jamaica. The food alone is... More

Imagine the mistiest, greenest, friendliest place on earth. Imagine that the food is so good that every meal is a feast for the senses. Imagine that the view from every spot is one that you have to keep asking yourself "Is this real?". Imagine long solitary walks down mountain roads that end with a cup of Blue Mountain coffee and... Just retuned from a trip to Mount Edge, a unique accommodation nestled in the Blue Mountains of the St Andrews parish of Jamaica. The food at the EITS cafe was amazing and of exceptional quality when you consider the small kitchen the chefs Kingsley and Joy work in. What makes Mount Edge and the surrounding area special, is the really... More

Lovely place, great views on the mountains, super friendly staff and amazing food! The value for price is excellent and the location is very good (very close to one of the main coffee farms) - in addition the owner is super friendly and gave us great recos! one of the highlights of our trip to Jamaica

I fell in love with Mount Edge as soon as I saw it. Love how the cabins have their own names & beautiful view to all the surroundings. Roost cabin was so nice you could hear the river roaring below during a nights sleep. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Loved the rustic elements of the cabin & bathroom. I will... More

We spent a day with the Mount Edge family, taking a bicycle tour through the Blue Mountains and eating some of the best food I've had anywhere. When most people think of Jamaica, they think of beaches - but it was the mountains that caught our eyes when we looked out from our hotel room in Kingston. If we had... More
