This hotel has just been remodeled. Everything is new and clean. You can't beat the room for the price. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the breakfast was as good as any other standard continental - waffle maker, assorted bread and bagels for toaster - cereal, etc. I would definitely stay again. more

We stayed here because we could not find another hotel that would accept dogs.It was late, and we were tired.I will say it was clean and well furnished, but they were stingy with the shampoo and soap etc.At 93 dollars a night,it was over priced, but they did accept pets ,and employees were friendly and helpful.I think they are remodeling the place, and that... more

I was going to try and email this dump to let them know just how awful our stay was but then after reading other reviews on it, i just figured, why bother. How are they still in business? My husband and I stayed there overnight and we couldn't get out fast enough in the morning. The first thing we saw... more

I stayed here for two nights. I suppose it is adequate but not the best: The property seems to be deteriorating somewhat...there are some broken tiles in the bathroom, etc. They had free wi-fi but I had a difficult time finding a place to plug in my laptop. Once I did, the wi-fi worked beautifully. The front desk staff were... more

The lobby was very nice. Person at the front desk was very friendly. Rooms were economy and lighting was very dim. Bathroom was acceptable. It wasn't gross but there was a little mildew on the ceiling/walls, just dirt not a health hazard in any way. It was a very crowded night so we had to park kinda far away, but... more

Stayed here on business 2 days. It wasn't that bad, I suppose. The corridors were ratty, the furniture chipped and worn, but the carpet and bedding looked recent, and the bed was comfortable. The problem is that Columbia is an inexpensive city, so for $90 per night you can do better. Last visit I stayed around the corner at the... more

I was completely fooled by the exterior & lobby of this hotel. At $99+tax it was a bit more than I wanted to spend, but the prospect of a relaxing night in a nice room seemed worth the extra money. My room was extremely run down, furniture with the finish completely worn off, carpet matted right down to nothing &... more

To whom this may concern: I came to SC for my daughters graduation from Ft. Jackson military BT. I booked the room through the 1800# that was given to us on the military web site. We requested a non smoking room when we arrived and checked in, the room smelled like a smoke house, the pillows and sheets smelled like... more

Ok, we hate to do this...write a bad review, but here goes. We first have to say that the front desk staff and the housekeeping staff could not have been nicer, kinder or more pleasant. They were ALL very very sweet! But that was the only good part of the stay. We were in Columbia in June for a tennis... more
