This place was awful. I've taken a year to write the review, but I think people really need to warned not to stay here. We did not stay the night. The first room we were assigned had a strong smoke odor and the fire alarm was cherping due to low batteries. Also, the bedspread was half off the bed. The... more

Before reading my review I would like to disclose that this hotel was housing Katrina refugees when we were there. We tried to be understanding but there is a certain level of service you come to expect from even the cheapest hotel. We were in Columbia for a wedding and booked this hotel through a flight/hotel/car package deal from Orbitz.... more

we checked in after a gruelling 10 drive. we got there around 11:30 pm. the outside seemed ok, but I couldnt believe the condition that the room was in when we got our key. dirty, dingy, stuff falling apart. wallpaper hiding the fact that there were no walls underneath the toilets. centipede crawling around on the bathroom floor. we checked... more

Unfortunately I did not read the reviews of this hotel before booking. Bed hard as concrete, paint peeling from mold covered bathroom ceiling, cigarette burn marks on furniture of no smoking room. Also, hotel is not in the best neighborhood. Don’t stay here even if it is cheap. It is not worth it. more

After 15 hours of driving we saw a billboard that said Travel Lodge $46. a night with indoor heated pool. We thought wow what a deal, how stupid were we. In life you only get what you pay for and being well traveled I should know this. When we walked in we thought it was ok so we asked about... more

First, had four different reservations, two of them were given away and was told that it would be made up for the following night with an upgrade of the rooms. THIS WAS TO BE DONE BY NOON. Finally, happened at 5pm after I had been calling all day about it. All the while employees and manager were not to polite... more

It's been several months since I stayed in this place, so I can't give a real detailed, specific critique, but I can tell you it was shabby. It had old, dated, mismatched furnishings, the bed was uncomfortable, and the place was just plain dreary. It just gave me the creaps. It also had a very, very rough, thuggy-looking clientele. This... more

First and foremost, the beds were terrible. Just imagine bricks with sheets, not even fitted sheets at that. The pillows were hard lumps, and they only gave you two and when I asked for more they said no. There is an indoor pool, but if you ask for more towels so that you can go swimming, you will be told... more

Stay away! I wish I had read the reviews. We were on our way to Florida for March break and because of a graduation at Fort Jackson all other hotels were full. It was absolutely the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Everything was filthy and broken, holes in the walls, light fixtures without covers, stained carpet and ceilings,... more

We stayed here on the way to Florida in 2004. Room was disgusting, mattress stained, bedsprings falling apart. There were no towels in the room and the front desk would only give us 2. The pool was cloudy and gross. There were about 1,000 kids running around the place all hours of the night. Avoid this hotel, it's cheap for... more
