We spent a nice evening here. We booked this room for $45 on priceline. The room and everything was clean. Employees were super nice, and helped us with restaurant selections in the area. We did not eat at the breakfast buffet, with was $8.99. There were three computer terminals in the lobby, with printer attached, for customer use. The hottub... more

Snagged a room at this Courtyard via Priceline for around $60, which was a bargain. Luckily, I didn't have any vandalism problems, and I have a GPS cradle suctioned to my front windshield, like some who've written reviews here. The room was very clean... except for the toilet, which when I really took a good, uptight look, was dirty in... more

I stayed at this hotel during Hurricane Hanna while on disaster relief. I didn't have any major complaints about this hotel. The rooms were clean and the staff pleasant and helpful. I did not get a chance to sample the hot breakfast, as it was out of my price range at $9. They had three computers in the lobby, all... more

Some other reviews seem a bit hysterical about the neighborhood around this hotel. The rooms are nicely updated and the folks working at the hotel are friendly and efficient. The neighborhood isn't special, but it's more down-in-the-mouth than ghetto. My car wasn't vandalized, but the property is a bit secluded, so I can see where that could be a problem.... more

Travelers beware... Surely there is a better choice for overnight stay in the area than the Courtyard Marriott in Columbia NW, SC!!! During our overnight, a Wednesday, EVERY vehicle in the parking lot was burglarized. We were fortunate to have minimal damage compared to other vehicles and minimal loss of propert. Some business travelers had losses nearing $10,000 in computer... more

Nicely updated Courtyard hotel. Lobby, restaurant and all public areas are nicely redone and high quality. Rooms were also very nice, new carpeting, bathroom fixtures and great mattress with top notch bedding. Wireless internet was fast and free. The area surrounding the hotel is horrible. This is basically a safe haven in the middle of the ghetto. The other hotels... more

After reading the many negative reviews I was pleasantly surprised at this hotel. My room was located down the hall from the lobby on the first floor. It was clean and spacious. The flatscreen tv was another plus. There is a Wallmart across the highway and plenty of restaurants close by. The free coffee in the lobby was nice. The... more

I must disagree with the older reviews!! I just stayed at this Courtyard and had a wonderful stay!!! They must have completed a renovation because all rooms were like "new". I was pleasantly surprised to find a 32 inch flat screen TV awaiting me when I walked into my room. The staff was extremely nice and breakfast although not included... more

I had reviewed trip advisor and at check in I asked if they were still doing construction and the clerk said "No they had finished". I got checked in and everything was nice. Rooms were nice, clean and comfortable. Everything when well until my wife and I came back from diner. There were no parking close to our room so... more
