Nothing impressed me about this hotel though nothing really horrified me either. Half of the hotel is motel-style rooms with outside entrances and half is in a big central building. I stayed in a motel-style room and it was a bit disappointing. I never had very much hot water (showers ranged from tepid to just barely warm enough, never hot).... more

This was our second time staying at this Clarion. We are now VERY big Choice hotels fans. Because of our Costco membership, we get 10% off rooms at their hotels. The bed is very soft and the pillows and comforter are heaven. The room is huge! We love the in-room breakfast choices available ($6.00-$12.00 range) and delivered exactly when you... more

I stayed at the Clarion for a conference and had a very nice experience. The rooms were comfortable and clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel a few blocks from the state capitol but it is a healthy walk to any restaurants. We arrived in the pouring rain without a car. The hotel shuttle (which was... more

This hotel isn't bad, but it isn't good either. The suites are nice and large, but they are detached from the main building and have outside, motel style entrances, so you have to outside for ice, to the fitness room etc. The room have no overhead lights or light switches except in the bathroom, so if you leave before dark... more

The hotel itself- appearance, cleanliness, would earn the Clarion a neutral rating. My review is based on customer service and management. We always choose our hotel based on cleanliness, location and ammenities. As usual we planned out our activities for the day, which included coming back to the hotel, going to the pool and getting some sun. I have children... more

My son plans to attend USC and we had scheduled a visit. We needed a hotel in walking distance to the campus. I found this hotel for two nights for about $230. I didn't expect luxury for that price but I was disappointed. Our room was in the Courtyard section. If...big if...we stay there again, we would only stay in... more

The hotel was situated in a great location near campus, near the Capital and relatively close to 5 points or the Vista. The staff were very accommodating, competent and friendly - a true rarity these days. They deserve a raise. The place is not the four seasons but you get good value. I would definitely stay here again. more

for the price, could be better. the rooms were dated. only thing was good was that the pillows were just right, and that the bedheads and furniture seems new. the carpet was dinghy, and the toilet needed servicing everyday. the towels that they put out, were also dirty, so check before u use. the shower had a bit of mold.... more

I recently stayed at the hotel for a family memebers wedding. The rooms are very outdated and "worn". Furtniture had lots of dings and scratches. . The price was not equal to the room. Still I tried to keep an open mind. The function I attended was nice. I actually called the sales office a few days later to inquire... more

Carpet dingy, long black hair in bathroom, mold in bathtub, stained furniture - description on Expedia is that this place was "recently renovated" - if that is correct - I can't imagine what it looked like before. Called for a wake up call - never happened. Description was 3 Stars. As usual lobby was beautiful - must have been what... more
