There is no hotel signage at the I-26 exit and the actual street signs are very small to read, especially in heavy traffic. Keep your GPS handy but be prepared to take a wrong turn or two! The attentive hotel clerk was very patient with us as we called him several times for directions.

Dear TNTRAVELER003: Thank you for your comments about signage to our hotel and the need for better signage. We have billboards, highway exit signs, bench's, trailblazers and even have a sign in the church yard where you turn. It can always be better and were always looking for ways to make it better and easier for the customer. We appreciate... More

We were driving home from Florida to PA and wanted to break up the trip, which is never super easy when traveling with 2 dogs. Columbia was a good stopping point so I looked for a pet-friendly Marriott that wasn't too far out of the way (i.e. off the highway). The Fairfield Inn looked like a good option - and... More

Stayed just one overnight in route to other places. Room was clean and inviting. Update bath was a pleasure. Breakfast was a little disappointing. No eggs. They did have waffles and biscuits. All in all it was a nice stay and I wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Front desk staff was very efficient and welcoming.

The biggest problem with this hotel was its location. It is SO close to the interstate, with LOUD truck traffic all night long. If you want to WALK to a restaurant, it's a lonely, dark walk, at least in February. And we did not find the listing of nearby restaurants on their website to be very accurate: one restaurant listed... More

Fairfield Inns are always a good choice for an overnight stay. This one in Colombia, South Carolina about half an hour from Congaree National Park, is no different. Breakfast was good and ample. I always enjoy getting the included USA Toay.

This hotel is located beside Columbiana Mall in western Columbia, SC. I have only two complaints. There was only one cart to take your items to your room when we checked in and out. The other is be prepared to fight some very heavy traffic in that area of town. Go to eat early. There is an abundance of great... More

We were on our way to Florida and needed a place to spend the night. This hotel was perfect. The rooms are clean with all the amenities. There is a free breakfast served each morning in the lobby which opens at 7:00 on the weekends but it was out by 6:30 the day we were there. They have coffee, juices,... More

Thin walls so we could hear incoming guests in the next room at 2am not to mention a noisy heater. The breakfast didn't have any fresh fruit and tasted a little stale. But the place was clean and updated.

Stopped on our way from Ontario to Florida travelling with 2 small dogs. Would return without question. Reservation was a breeze beforehand over the phone ending with a reasonable rate with no advance payment. Check-in was friendly and fast. I am going to guess we were in a 'doggie' room (118), but it was fine. It also is really convenient... More

This is a really nice hotel. Nothing too fancy - really nice staff, clean, new,..larger rooms. It was very comfortable. The front desk staff was helpful and friendly - the breakfast staff took care of you. Great hotel for the price!! I'll be back
