I admittedly had some reservation about staying here after reading some of the reviews on here, but booked anyway due to the outstanding deal I received. I have nothing but good things to say about it! From the prompt valet attendants, to the friendly front desk staff, to the courteous housekeepers.....a very positive experience. The rooms are a bit on... more

This is an overrated hotel, badly in need of an overhaul. The room charge was excessive for what you received. Not up to what I would expect at a Marriott. Rooms were old and worn, AC made noises all night, conceierge lounge was a joke, although the person working there in the evening was very helpful. My recommendation: stay at... more

Pros--nothing beats a Marriott bed--period. Rooms and area are very clean, but this is an old Adams Mark Hotel. It shows some age, but is really clean. Check in was horrible. When clerk swiped my debit card he loudly exclaimed that it was declined. I gave him another and called my bank. Seems all he had to do was hand type... more

The GM, Peter Austin was wonderful. We had 3 rooms on the concierge level for the weekend. The front desk staff were very helpful, the hotel looked great. My boys enjoyed the pool on Sunday morning. We had the breakfast buffet on Saturday and Sunday and it was very good. We will definately be back! more

I can't relate to the negative reviews posted here, this is one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed at, (and I have traveled extensively) I would even think it should be a 4*. We booked 5 rooms (traveling w/ teenagers from our church) at $55/night on Priceline. Staff was courteous, hotel was clean and beautiful, beds comfortable, bathrooms nice.... more

I like to be fair so I will write the good along with the bad. I arrived early and there were no rooms available. The front desk agent told me to check back at noon but offered to store my luggage. I asked if he knew where an outlet was that I could plug in my cell phone to charge... more

This was not my most enjoyable stay at a 3 star hotel. TO make a long story short I will list positives and negatives. Positives: Bed is comfortable Has restaurant/bar (which I didn't use but think its a good idea) The shampoo and conditioner is great (Bath and Body brand) Vallet parking attendants were awesome Negative: NO early check in... more

This was my second time at this hotel for business. Registration was very pleasant, but when I opened the door to my room (#1000) I immediately smelled mildew. I was able to change my room, but then the desk lamp and outlet didn't work. I called down to the front desk and they sent an engineer up, and he diagnosed... more

We attended the Monday practice round at the 2008 Masters and chose this hotel based on reviews, price, and close proximity to Augusta Ga. We enjoyed our stay at the Marriott. The room was a bit small for three, however, it was very comfortable and clean. We took advantage of the pool and breakfast; which was very good. Most notable... more
