I stayed at the Wingate Inn for 3 nights will in Columbia for a conference. I must say that the hotel was very nice. The rooms are in the process of being updated. Nice staff, friendly upon arrival. Pillows extremely uncomfortable, actually too big for your head. Bed comfortable mattress. We loved our stay here. It's clearly a limited service hotel -- no bellhops, no bar or gift shop or restaurant. But the rooms were very spacious, comfortable, nicely furnished.
