Clemson Alum coming back for the Georgia State game: Everyone was incredibly nice, attentive staff (Chris P.) helped us out a lot (finding local spots, late night snack options, etc). Really love the new look and feel of the hotel, the University colors adorn the walls of the rooms and bring back pleasant memories!

Great location, friendly staff (John). Room was nice and well thought out. Refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot. Plenty of storage area. The bathroom a little small but shower stall area was big. Only wish there were more hooks in bathroom area to hang clothes. Breakfast was very good. Choices of cereals, yogurts, fruits, breads(toast, bagel, & biscuit) sausage gravy, cheese... More

Great room, great sleep. Will stay there again. First time I have stayed in a Clemson hotel but this will not be the last time I stay at the Hotel Tillman. I read some bad reviews about it, but those reviews were before the the remodeling job. Our room was beautiful, beds were very comfortable. I slept like a baby.... More

This is just a very average budget motel. Why they call it a Boutique Hotel remains mysterious. The rooms are average, clean, but budgety, not particularly tastefully decorated. The breakfast is minimal, self Service, pre-fab, nothing special at all. The location is convenient for drivers, on Tiger Avenue, but very noisy.

It was fun. Cute boutique hotel with Clemson decorations. Photographs were great. Breakfast was really good. Bed was great. Shower head was great. Room was adequate. Small hotel was fine. Train track was close behind the hotel. Only heard train once during the night.

Having previously stayed at this hotel when it was whatever it used to be, I was blown away by the new look, new decor, everything. The bed was comfortable. The color scheme was very modern and obviously dedicated to Clemson University. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were extra fluffy. We will definitely stay here again now that we... More

In a recent stay at the Hotel Tillman, I did not know what to expect. Upon arrival I was greeted by a friendly staff and was mesmerized by the lobby as you enter. The hotel is beautiful! I understand that it has been newly renovated and now has the distinction as the only boutique hotel in Clemson. They deserve a... More

This hotel used to be a Sleep Inn (the curved showers gave it away). Nice and newly remodeled throughout though in my opinion the colors are hideous. They were still installing the last rolls of carpeting during our stay (shoddy job - hope the installers don't leave the frail edges sticking out). The rooms are good size, comfortable, and most... Location is excellent for game weekends, but the room had significant mold problems. We traveled with a large group and all rooms were moldy and smelled terrible. Complained multiple times and staff gave different examples nations each time. Bathroom was filthy. Mold and dirt in shower and on wall. Tiles peeling and falling off. Tiny bugs flying in room. Never... More

Hotel is in the process of being updated and remodeled. We were not disrupted with any work being done and our stay was nice. Breakfast was great and had much more offerings than a normal hotel "free" breakfast, and the rooms were spacious and clean.
