A great home away from home. Only spent one night, but loved everything about the place. If I'm back in the area, Spears Guest House will be my first choice. Thanks Kay! I took a couple pictures of my favorite thing....lamps!!!! Makes the rooms inviting and welcoming.

My husband and I stayed with Kay and Larry at the guest house for a weekend in October for my niece's wedding. The room was super, bathroom also....great TV, and since my husband is a very early riser he enjoyed the newspaper that was delivered early and we both enjoyed coffee, orange juice, milk, he enjoyed a sausage biscuit and... We spent two wonderful nights at the Spears guesthouse and loved it from the moment we arrived. It is southern charm at its finest. Kay was easy to work with and the home has everything you would ever need. The house is located on a quiet street and the front porch was a delight while enjoying our morning coffee. There... More

Back in Cheraw recently, and had a chance to stay at Spears Guest House again. As expected, it was just as before: attractive and comfortable rooms, a quiet but central location, lots of tasty options for breakfast, excellent wifi, and all at a reasonable price. And of course, Larry and Kay continue to be what we Southerners pride ourselves on... More

My daughter and I recently stayed at this lovely B&B during our visit to South Carolina. We fell in love with it immediately! It had all the charm and beauty of a southern Victorian home as well as many amenities. It provided us with a well-stocked kitchen for snacks and breakfast, as well as a beautiful sitting room, dining area,... More

After a good bit of research into towns and hotels near the Carolina Sandhills National Wildlife Refuge (NWR), I chose the Spears Guest House in Cheraw, South Carolina and it is wonderful. The guest house has appealing sitting areas, well-supplied kitchen and excellent wireless connection. The nicely furnished room with en suite bathroom offered comfort, quiet, privacy and excellent sleep.... More

We would not think of staying anywhere else. This trip our sister and her husband were with us, it was like being at home.... More

We were a bridal party that rented the entire house for the week of the wedding. It was so perfect. Each room had it's own bathroom which helped immensely on wedding day. It was a beautiful house and fit our needs perfectly. We had a wonderful time.

On the occasions where I've found myself in Cheraw, I've always stayed at the Spears Guest House. Why? Because this place really feels like my southern home away from home. From the fantastic bedroom and bathroom, to the wonderful common areas such as the well-appointed kitchen and dining room, you feel like you're staying at a family member's beautiful home,... More

My sister and I stayed at the Spears Guest House along with my Aunt and Uncle. We booked 3 out of the 4 rooms there and the extra room remained empty throughout our stay. We could not have had better accommodations! Since we enjoyed the entire house to ourselves, we took full advantage of the room to spread out. My... More
