Phenomenal location and a wonderful, generous staff that went out of its way to be helpful at every turn. The folks at the front desk made great recommendations, helped us sort out car rental confusion and then a mistaken parking ticket among other things, and were easy-going and friendly throughout. Accommodations were spacious and while there was limited natural light... More

This was my first visit to Charleston as well as my first time staying at an Inn. Wow, what a charmer! A much different look and feel from the hotels where I normally stay but it lured me in and won me over. Though my room wasn't large it was clean and had everything I needed including ample storage. A... More

The best things about the Meeting Street Inn for a girl's getaway are: Location, Garden seating, afternoon wine and cheese, and the value. Two women shared the double room with plenty of room, the breakfast and afternoon wine and cheese kept us only needing to buy lunch and an evening snack. We were able to walk to almost everything we... More

Stayed only for 1 night. Lots of Authentic Charleston ambiance. This is a very old building that has been renovated many times throughout the years. Our room was tastefully decorated in reproduction period pieces and plenty spacious. It did seem dark with only 1 small window but there were plenty of lamps. Really, there's too much to do and see... More

The Meeting Street Inn is one of Charleston’s Historic Buildings, beautifully decorated with a grand garden. Don’t expect the pristine atmosphere of a Marriott, it is an old building from 1874. The morning breakfast is more continental then full breakfast. The evening wine and cheese is a very nice touch. The staff could not be more accommodating with restaurant and... More

The Meeting Street Inn is one of our favorite vacation spots to stay. The Inn Keeper & staff are exceptionally friendly & accomodating. The grounds keeper Miss Kim always remembers your name & makes sure everything is to your satisfaction. Christmas time is one of our special times to come as the Inn is decorated & exceptionally seasonal, thanks to... More

We were booked into the B and B by the tourist office outside Charleston (coming from Beaufort). We did get a very good deal that way. You have to pay for parking but the lot is across from the hotel so very convenient. The room was clean and the chairs comfortable to sit in so we could sit and watch... More

This was my second time at Meeting Street Inn...In between visits I have stayed at more expensive places in Charleston and will never waste my money on them again. The staff, the location, the set up- it's all great. The wine & cheese everyday is so nice. The rooms are adorable and very clean. I have been here for a... More

Loved the place. Great location with parking lot across the street (must pay). Rooms very clean. Staff very helpful especially Aaron the bell boy and Kurt the evening guy who does it all. Cute side porch used for breakfast or their late afternoon wine and cheese. Friendly atmosphere. Would stay here again. Close to restaurants and city market acroos the... More
