We stayed one night in Meeting Street Inn - found them on the B&B network. The room was O.K., clean and ready when we arrived. The room furnishings were simple, but O.K. The rooms need their door hardware and locks updated, but everything worked. The inn had some wine and cheese the afternoon we arrived and served a really nice... More

We stayed at Meeting Street Inn to celebrate a birthday and it was perfectly located so that nothing in the city is more than a 20 minute walk at the furthest. The rooms were dated but well maintained and cozy. The complimentary wine and cheese hour from 5-6 was a nice idea but the quality of the wine left a... More

My future husband and I booked the reservation a couple of months ago. We decided to "cease the moment" and get married. We called the inn and found out the General Manager is an Officiant. Allen could not have done more for us. He gave us all the information we needed...from photographer, florist, day spa, where to get married and... More

Everyone has a general idea of the term "southern hospitality" but if you are not familiar with it first hand and wish to see it, I recommend you stay at The Meeting Street Inn. The location makes all the shopping, eating, and touring districts easily accessible, the rooms make you feel right at home, and the staff makes the stay... More

We have stayed at The Meeting Street INN countless times since first finding this gem in Downtown Historic Charleston in 2007. Perfect location, relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff! We have stayed here for weekend get-a-ways, visits to our children at C of C, birthdays, Anniversaries, even used The Meeting Street Inn for our Son and Daughter-in-laws wedding. we took up 11... I go to Charleston every year for a long weekend with my BFF from high school. We have been staying at The Meeting Street Inn since 2001. With all the options of places to stay in Charleston, we continue to stay here because the service is great, the people are all very nice, the location is great, and the price... More

This place was great stayed in room 211, on Nov 25-27, 2014... Nice and quiet, breakfast was better than a continental breakfast, and the cocktail hour was fun and worth it. Staff was friendly, and knew where we could get dinner at 8 o'clock at night when we arrived. Could have stayed somewhere cheaper but wouldn't have had the discounted... More

Old but maintained, very historical .. In a perfect location...walking distance to everything, market place, restaurants and harbor. The free expanded continental breakfast and evening wine and cheese daily event in the lobby is a treat... To get you walking and then a nice rest before going out to dinner.

My husband and I stayed at the Meeting Street Inn for a much needed getaway. It was a cute place with an historic feel with all the modern day amenities. It was also a great location, walking distance for the entire downtown area. The staff was wonderful - friendly, attentive and very accommodating. A great place for a couple's get-away.

Just stayed here for 2 nights this past weekend and could not have been happier. My parents stay here every year for their anniversary so thought we would give it a try this past weekend and we stayed for 2 nights last minute at a very reasonable rate. The rooms all have 4 post canopy beds, and are decorated in... More
