We left Jacksonville, FL from our daughter's wedding with friends visiting from India, and wanted to visit a special US city & hotel. The free breakfast is fabulous, as well as the free wine time with snacks. The location is fantastic, the staff is more than helpful and the rooms are really nice. We loved it last time we came,... I loved this hotel; I fell into it when I arrived too early for check-in at another location. It's in the middle of everything, including a stop along the free bus route downtown. They valet park your car, and will shuttle you there or bring it if you want. The breakfast (included) was more than most places provide; the "happy... More

Recently had the opportunity to stay here for two separate trips a few days apart. I was so impressed with how we were welcomed that I couldn't wait to go back. We were looking for a little place with a lot of atmosphere that represented old Charleston and we found it. Wonderful breakfast in the lobby and wine and cheese... More

We had a lovely room with 2 double canopy beds and private balcony. You could walk to the Market, King Street, shops, restaurants. They provide complimentary rides and picks up to around the general area, a breakfast, wine and snacks at 5:00 p.m., they have turn down service with mints! First class place and such nice sweet people working their.... More

First the positives: - The location can't be faulted, the Meeting Street Inn is right in the heart of Charleston. - The rooms are well furnished, beautifully finished, evocative of Charleston's history and romantic. - The rooms are clean. - The wifi is great. - The waiting staff at breakfast were friendly, attentive and helpful. - The rooms warm quickly... Thanks to this reviewer for taking the time to put together such a thought out review. I thank them for both the positive and negatives. After reading this, I did purchase heaters for the courtyard to give us more seating at breakfast. I already had fans out there for the summer, but this winter was harsher than most. We Southerners... More

Wonderful location and lovely courtyard. We loved our room, small but nice. Very good breakfast and coffee. We also enjoyed wine and cheese each afternoon. Easy to walk to lots of nice restaurants and shops. We would definitely stay here again.

I've stayed here 6 or 7 times for 2 nights each time on my way to Hilton Head Island. This is my favourite American city thus far. The Meering Street Inn is never a disappointment. The rooms are beautiful and clean. The staff are very hospitable and the breakfast and afternoon "libations" are great. The patio, gardens and hot tub... More

Great small 3 story Inn. The front 3 rooms on 2nd and 3rd floors are in the old 19th century Charleston Single House with entry from the porch. Very spacious with interior shutters on the window, reproduction king bed and furniture and a roomy bath. Very pleasant staff, extraordinary breakfast buffet with a daily rotating main egg dish in addition... More

My family & I have stayed twice now at the Meeting Street Inn. We live 2 hours away and visit Charleston frequently. The location of course is excellent, right on Meeting Street, but there are many other reasons that make this the best choice in Charleston. The staff are the friendliest and most helpful, and the rooms are decorated beautifully... More

I stayed at the Meeting Street Inn for 2 nights in January and found it to be incredibly charming. A great location within easy walking distance of the major hotspots. Very clean..in fact, I dropped the cap to my hand lotion and it rolled under the bed. When I went to retrieve it I was amazed at how clean it... More
