I have been coming here for 12 years on business and pleasure. The rooms are very nicely appointed as ids the lobby. The lobby is the scene for a full breakfast every morning. Fruit, yogurt, pastries, local baked breads and a hot dish, sometimes egg casserole other time shrimp and grits or country ham and biscuits. In the evening it's... More

This was our first stay at Meeting Street Inn, but definitely won't be our last. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Rooms were lovely and very clean. The breakfast was wonderful with a wide assortment of foods (loved the fresh strawberries). In the evening they serve a wine and cheese reception. Everything was delicious. Staying here was like stepping back... More

We stumbled upon this place in our desperate search to find something for the night after checking in and promptly checking OUT of the hotel we had originally booked elsewhere. The Meeting Street Inn offered us a great rate with parking AND breakfast plus the do a nice wine and cheese at 5pm each day in their lobby/courtyard. The whole... More

This combination of a hotel/B & B is located perfectly in the historic district in charming Charleston. You're just a few steps away from the city market, lots of great restaurants and you're nestled right in the historic district. Because of the design of the hotel in classic Charleston style, you almost think you're staying in one of the historic... More

This was an exceptional hotel. Modeled (or it may have been at one time) after the single house concept popular in Charleston architecture, this four story inn has a variety of room styles to meet different needs. The rooms were beautifully decorated with poster beds. I wondered about the bathrooms (a pet peeve of mine), but found updated facilities beautifully... More

Old hotel with no pool (but many downtown Charleston hotels do not have pools). Great location near Market St. Plenty of restaurants nearby & just a short walk to the water & historic landmarks. Also , one block from King St with many retail stores. Nice continental breakfast, decent one hour wine & cheese in the evening and beverages throughout... More

My husband & I have stayed here several times over the years & the inn gets consistently better with each visit & this is my first review of the inn. Our room was the King Honeymoon Suite, quite spacious with a comfortable bed. The tub/shower is nice however there is no air conditioner in the bathroom & tends to get... More

Couldn't ask for a better location in Charleston for this popular, yet reasonably-priced hotel! Walking distance to everything, terrific old South atmosphere, and delicious full breakfast. Nearby parking and friendly staff. Beautiful lobby & grounds. Perfect!

This is the second time we have stayed at this B&B and it never disappoints. Great location for exploring Charleston on foot. We just parked the car and left it at the lot for the weekend. Great staff, great wine reception and breakfast. The rooms are charming and homey; bed was awesomely comfortable. You can stroll to every downtown sight... More
