A charming inn in a perfect location for a reasonable price! What more could you ask for? The staff are really exceptional at this inn...they are very helpful, friendly and take good care of their guests. They actually appear to LIKE working at the Inn. The rooms are small but very nicely decorated. The maid service is keen and provides... more

We stayed in the Meeting Street Inn for two nights. The location was great because you could walk everywhere and the room was quiet and off the street. The room was quite small however. We were given a blow-up bed for our daughter and it was wedged between the bed and wall; going to the bathroom at night was tricky,... more

This was my 5th stay at the Meeting Street Inn, and I loved it all over again! This quaint and charming 56 room inn is always a great place to stay! The location is perfect: in the middle of the historic area and close to restaurants and shopping. The decor is different in each room and true to Charleston style.... more

This property is a bit larger than your average B&B with a typical Charleston architecture. All rooms overlook the courtyard which had a small hot tub/plunge pool. We stayed this past weekend (4/11/08) at a rate of $239 per ngt for a room with double beds. We stayed in room 208 which was decorated in the traditional southern style; four... more

Just returned from a short trip to Charleston, and spent one night at the Meeting Street Inn. The inn is centrally located, and within walking distance of many fine restaurants and shops. The inn is not a 'polished' place. It is more 'shabby chic'. Don't expect high end finishes, granite, high tech showers, etc. Do expect four poster beds, lots... more

I stayed here for three nights with three other women for our annual "girls weekend." We opted to stay together in one room, which was a little tight but we had fun hanging out. Our room was actually very spacious, with two double beds, a large walk-in closet, french doors and a small balcony, and plenty of space for all... more

My husband and I stayed at Meeting Street Inn for our honeymoon and we couldn't have had a better time in Charleston. We're from South Carolina, so we've been to Charleston many times before, but the location and service that Meeting Street Inn had to offer was outstanding. It's located right at the end of Market Street, and any shop... more

Just returned from our yearly visit to Charleston, SC, staying as always at the Meeting Street Inn. For the last several years we've requested the same room, in fact have started making reservations a year in advance just so we could be sure to have "our" room. Each year it's just like coming home when we wheel the luggage trolley... more

Stayed here in August, when they installed the scaffolding for some renovations on the front side of the inn (which did not bother anything, other than to look at the scaffolds) . We loved this place and it's location. It was my wife, 10 year old daughter and I. First, if you want to explore Charleston on foot, then this... more

What a lovely Inn. We were really too early to book in but the receptionist found us a room that was ready for which we were grateful. The room itself was gorgeous, a four poster bed and very clean. In the evening they have an hour where you can enjoy free wine and cheese. We parked up and walked everywhere... more
