I spent a week staying between Indigo Inn and it's sister property, Jazmine Place. The two Inns are jointly managed and share a lobby. I had a wonderful experience at both places. They are centrally located - just steps from historic sites and shopping on King Street. The price was reasonable. My rooms, were charming, clean, comfortable and affordable. The... More

The Indigo Inn was the perfect place for a "girls weekend". Located in the heart of the historic district, we could "safely" park our car and walk through the city to shopping, and restaurants. You are well taken care of with a beautiful breakfast and more of a "happy hour" than just the normal wine and cheese in the early... More

The Indigo in was charming, well priced and clean. The location was great. Walking distance from all major historical sights on the Charleston peninsula. Breakfast was great and included as well as lovely wine and cheese in the evening. The inner courtyard was a wonderful place to relax and eat. I would definitely go back.

We were lucky to find an opening here - especially downtown for our annual Cooper River Bridge Run. We've stayed at others but found this place to be the perfect location being in the very heart of downtown. The staff was great, the breakfast was superb and the wine and cheese hour was wonderful. The room was comfortable and the... More

Once again Trip Advisor has aided us in making the most of our latest trip by leading us to the Indigo Inn on the first weekend in March. I must say that I don't think the reviews do justice to this quaint gem in the heart of the historic district. As others have said it is a unique property. The... More

We have stayed here multiple times. Although we have stayed at other hotels in Charleston over the years - The Indigo Inn is our favorite. The "Happy Hour" and "Breakfast Hour" make it special. The terrace is a great place to enjoy both.

Great location that is hard to beat in Charleston. Old hotel that could use some work but the staff is nice and accommodating. Our room was stuffy with no window to open. It has a nice courtyard. Location is fantastic.

There's not much to say about the completely charming Indigo Inn that others haven't said already, but here are three aspects that really stuck out to me: **A double-queen room was perfect for three vacationing friends. Though it wasn't enormous, it was clean, well-appointed, and smartly set up, with the sink and mirror located outside the shower and toilet room.... More

Visited Charleston for the first time this past weekend for a wedding and found the Indigo to be a wonderful spot to stay. The staff was fantastic and very helpful, the courtyard was picturesque for breakfast (I guess wine, too, but we were at a wedding), and the room was just right. The location could not have been better -... More

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights. The location is perfect! The staff was great they recommend great places to eat. The breakfast each morning was tasty, they switched up each morning. The wine and cheese in the afternoon was a bonus! We would highly recommend The Indigo Inn
