We didn't know where anything was in Charleston, but booked our room because we trusted the name and the price was OK. We left very pleased with our experience, and would return to this hotel even though it was far from most of the sights (the free shuttle overcame this problem). The room was sunny, immaculate and comfortable, although in...

We picked this hotel based on the free shuttle service to Charleston. The hotel staff was helpful and friendly. Jay greeted us with a smile and lots of good information. Donna, the shuttle driver was wonderful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The reasturant was the only negative. Pricey and not all that great. The staff was not very friendly. I...

The hotel is older and could use some work, the view of the Ashley river is outstanding. The rooms were quiet despite being adjacent to the highway. The shuttle service in to downtown was awesome. I will stay here again. The service was great.
The hotel is round and tall. It's very run of the mill and nothing special. Rooms were okay - but my room (602) smelled kinda funky - moldy. Whatever it was, it was not fresh. Beds were about the least comfortable I've been on in years -- and sleep didn't come easy. I could hear noise in hallway and other...

Stayed a couple of nights in room 204 mid April 2012. Room clean and bed comfy, great views from restaurant. OK breakfast at $10 pp. Avoid the lower level rooms if you don’t want to be woken up by any loud noise other than your alarm clock! First morning we were awoken at 7am (not too bad) and second morning...

My husband and I stayed here for our 5 year anniversary and we were trying to stay within budget. Holiday Inn Riverview had one of the best prices. Not only were the prices competitive but the staff and rooms were excellent! Everyone from the front desk to the bartenders to the shuttle drivers were happy, helpful, and ready to please....

Friendly, efficient staff. A quick check-in. Located between 4 lanes of I-17 traffic right off the bridge. Traffic noise not a problem on 6th floor. Triangular shaped room. Drab beige decor colors. Tub needs a refurb, but it was clean. Labels on small bed pillows for 'soft' and 'firm' not necessary - I think they both felt the same. Noisy...

At thirty plus years this hotel is no worse for the wear. The riverview rooms are great and the staff was very helpful with our needs. The only single complaint I have is the elevators ate very slow and if that is all I can complain about then I had a good stay! Oh, I must say that the parking...

We recently stayed in the Holiday Inn Riverview in Charleston. This hotel has been in Charleston for over 30 years, so was somewhat surprised to find it was clean and new-looking. The room was nice, with two double beds. All the rooms are a bit pie-shaped as the hotel is round. You could find a more pictureesque hotel or inn...
