We would have preferred to stay in the old city, but the hotels there were above our budget. To our surprise, the La Quinta is on the water, just outside the city. It was clean, quiet and welcoming. The front desk staff was most helpful.

Needed good midrange accomodations. LaQuinta Charleston filled the bill quite well. The room was in excellent condition and the staff were very pleasant. Would and will gladly stay in this Inn again.

This hotel is way over priced, it is an older building not recently upgraded. The breakfast was sub par the grounds were dirty. Over all a poor choice.
