I was thrilled with this hotel. one of the best embassy suites I have stayed at. We felt welcome every step of the way. For example, we had requested 2 cribs and they had the cribs already in the room when we arrived. I cannot tell you how wonderful this is after traveling a long day with babies. It is... More

Great set up. Comfortable spacious room. Built from the old Citadel. Clean pool. Fitness center had very advanced equipment and free weights, but its kinda small. Great view of the park if you can get on the left side. Walk down king instead of meeting street: there are more shops and there is no construction.

This is a great location in Charleston. The staff was very polite and friendly. The evening reception was an extra perk and the breakfast was wonderful. I would definately go back to this hotel in the future.

Spent the last few days at Embassy Suites in Charleston, SC. Beautiful place. Free breakfast and happy hour with free drinks and.snacks. Right in the middle of the historic district. Visitor Center is one block over and trolleys are free. The market area is a ride away and lots to see and do. .Great service here, had an issue with... More

Excellent value and convient for walking around Charleston. Staff is friendly and well trained. Room spacious and very clean. Nice pool and hot tub. Located about 1/2 mile walk to Market Street and 1 mile walk to Battery Park. We will stay there again when we return to Charleston. Fitness room had only one treadmill, so we jogged 3 miles... More

Great place to stay! The rooms are spacious clean. You can ride the trolley for free, there is a stop across the street. The free breakfast was wonderful, the hotel set up breakfast in the atrium when they thought there would be overflow. The hotel is only one block away from visitors center. Parking is an issue so we just... More

My wife booked what she thought was a two BEDroom suite, but it was only a 1 bedroom/2 room suite. We had our 3 daughters with us, so it was a big fat fail for 5 people. On the plus side, ES comped a (smoking) room for us. We had planned to stay 4 nights but moved out after the... More

This property is unique in its architecture as the front lobby building is part of an old, historical citadel which was part of old Charleston, SC. Upon entering the hotel, you will notice a small parking/entry way with a door which leads into the expansive historical lobby. At the front desk we were quickly waited on by an average personality... More

An older facility, but well maintained and nicely decorated. The staff was outstanding, helping with transportation, questions and lost items. Only a few blocks from the market and close to excellent shopping on King Street.
