The Comfort Inn is not a bad option if you're traveling on a budget. The location works if you want to be near the the historic district, but are looking for a more reasonable option. There's a breakfast in the morning, free parking, and free internet usage in the lobby. My wife and I felt like it was somewhat of... more

Hands down the most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed in. To say the staff is rude is an understatement, room smelled of paint, had 3 used towels on the bathroom floor, and the front desk employee, Tijuanna, i think, upon hearing some of my thoughts said "well, what did you expect for $100/night in this area?" We left a... more

My husband and I were here for a week and I was very worried about the reviews I read. When we got to the parking lot I felt better because the place was packed. Breakfast consisted of: Fruit Danishes, toast, bagels with cream cheese or jams, peanut butter. Assorted muffins. Pancakes batter was there we had to pour it ourselves... more

After reading the reviews on this site, I was prepared for the worst. But, the reservation was already done, and I didn't want to pay the $200 bucks other hotels were charging. To my surprise everything is (mostly) fine. The lobby is good, there is a computer for free general use, free wireless internet, and my room is good. Basic... more

I have stayed at this hotel twice, the first time was back in September and the second was the beginning of January. It was like staying in two different hotels. The first time was not terrible but was not great. The second time was wonderful. The staff was very friendly, the room was clean, the breakfast was great. I was... more

We have always relied on this chain to have clean, basic rooms with a predictable level of service and good maintenace. This particular hotel stood out as unusually dirty and poorly maintianed. the bathroom had extensive black mould on all surfaces (except the basin). It smelled very mouldy in the room. The overall cleanliness was substandard - carpets were dirty,... more

My boss and I stayed here during a recent business trip because the rates were good. That was the only good thing about this dump and, even so, they have charged my credit card twice for the same stay. The desk clerks are rude and clueless--one of them had no clue how to restart the printer after it ran out... more

I booked this hotel for a business trip at the Choice hotel website, but then I found this website and I was really worried! Everyone had such bad reviews that I was thinking I would walk in and walk right back out. The front desk staff was very friendly when I checked in. (I got here at 3:30 pm today.)... more

just want everyone to know this hotel was awful. The first room they checked in smelled, the carpet was wet and housekeeping had fans blowing. The housekeeper told us that someone had been sick in this room the night before and the room shouldn't be rented. The front desk clerk switched us to another room which was dirty. This room... more

Street hotel is on floods regularly, due to 'tides' and probably collapsing city sewer infrastructure. No view, ugly part of town. Cheap breakfast, but what do you expect? Very long walk to downtown, which we did, but a bit too long a walk. Not for tourists, only people with relatives in hospital. Best part is we didn't have to pay... more
