Stayed in one of the "junior suites". Great room. Clean and comfortable. A bit of noise early in the evening in this first-floor room, but perfectly quiet later. Walking distance to many attractions and eating places, with a tram stop about 1/2 block away. Drug store/market also 1/2 block away. A great adaptive reuse of an old paper warehouse. more

We went to Charleston for an early anniversary getaway and had a great stay. The inn is very unique being an old paper warehouse with original exposed wood beams. 1. We got a great rate from the hotel. 2. The room we booked was not made up when we arrived so we were offered a larger room. Noise COULD be a problem -- rooms that open from the lobby are exposed to noise. But in the evening there was little movement in the lobby and we had no complaints.... more

My husband and I just returned from our first visit to Charleston. We stayed 3 nights at the Ansonborough Inn and thoroughly enjoyed it. We stayed on the first floor in a large room with a leather sofa and king size bed. The decor was beatiful. There were lovely paintings in our room as well as through out the hotel.... more
