This B&B is run by a lovely lady, Judy. It's located on a very quiet but super convenient street (walk to many nice restaurants) surrounded by Charleston's unique & beautiful houses. We stayed in the Carriage House, which in the back and had a terrace upstairs. My husband and I stayed upstairs bedroom, and our friend slept on the pullout... More

We just got back from 3 days in Charleston and stayed at this wonderful B&B in the historical district south of Broad Street. we stayed in back garden room which was perfect for a couple. The room is very large, clean, and comfortable with a small kitchen with all your needs. Judy thinks of everything to include for you in... More

As the previous reviews state, Judy is the reason this Bed and Breakfast Inn is so special. We stayed in the Front Garden Room, this is not just a "room", this is comfortable suite. It is the size of an apartment and could have easily extended our stay, but unfortunately the room was rented for the rest of the week.... More

Upon arriving at Lavender and Lace we were met by the owner, Judy, who showed us to our room and with our consent gave us a great overview of what to see and do in Charleston, as well as places to eat. The Front Garden Room was spacious and very clean. A small kitchen was available for the delectible breakfast... More

Judy Brown takes very personal care of each guest as she familiarizes you with the area, the historical sights, the restaurants and each day begins with homemade breakfast delights. I stayed in the Carriage House which was wonderfully quiet, private and had all the amenities I would want, including parking. I seldom needed a car given the wonderful location and... More

My wife and I stayed at Lavender and Lace April 24th through the 28th. Judy, the owner, was so gracious in providing many great recommendations on where to visit and where to eat. She was spot on. We would highly recommend taking time to get Judy's recommendations. We stayed in the back room of the house which was small, but... More

As other people have mentioned, location, location, location. This B&B is perfectly situated in the historic district of Charleston. A grocery store two blocks away and nestled into a quiet street walking distance to the city's highlights.
