Paul and I spent a marvelous week at this serene, joyous haven. We immediately felt like family and were treated as such during our stay. Jack and Annalise provided expert assistance and travel advice in a relaxed, guest-focused manner. Our room on the third floor (the Rose room) was peaceful, quiet and exceptionally comfortable - Paul said it was the... More

Loved the porch, the location, the bed, the breakfast, the M and M's, the beer, the dog, the cat, the warm welcome and on and on. Charleston is a wonderful place for people who love walking and gardens. Relaxing and lovely visit.

We are so pleased we chose this B&B for our 3 night stay in Charleston. It is in a beautiful, historic building in the loveliest part of Charleston. Our room was on the ground floor, and was large, nicely furnished with a comfy bed and very cool - extremely welcoming after a hot day sightseeing (and it was getting quite... More

Found this inn for my annual Mother-Daughter get-away. First time to Charleston and so glad this was the place we booked! We opted not to rent a car and this was certainly the perfect spot - an easy walk to several different parks, the battery, and eateries. This in allowed us to walk through a living postcard in the surrounding... More

We were recommended to choose 15 Church Street for our 5 nights in Charleston and were not disappointed. Indeed it exceeded our expectations. Jack and Annelise were such kind and thoughtful hosts, and we loved the social hour each evening with them and other guests. This is a beautiful and comfortable family home in a great location in the historic... More

Having stayed in many B&B's, I have to say this is the first one where the hosts (and home owners) truly made us feel so completely welcome. Annelise spends a good amount of time when you arrive to orient you to the city and give you options about transportation as you don't want to drive around the historic district. The... More

We thank you for your kind words and thoughtful review. We do value our secluded location as it is on one of the quietest streets in the city. Regarding the breakfast, we have tweaked it over the past twelve years to accommodate most food preferences offering a full hot breakfast menu adaptable to those with special dietary needs. The frittata... More

Jack and Annalise add so much to this beautifully renovated home. Their social hour is a wonderful opportunity to meet others who are visiting the Charleston restaurants and sights. Jack and Annalise go out of their way to help you as a first time, or many time visitor. How fortunate we were to select this terrific place for our stay... More

Jack & Annelise made our Charleston getaway a treasured memory! Their home is full of charm and joy. Our room was clean, private, comfortable - a haven from our sightseeing. They worked quickly and pleasantly to meet any extra request that we made. The Charleston cocktail hour was not-to-miss as it was relaxing as we enjoy the company of our... More

We couldn't imagine a better place to stay in Charleston. From the very first contact, we knew this would be a most memorable stay. Jack and Annelise Simmons are wonderful hosts. Before we even arrived, Jack made sure that we were informed of things to do and especially options for dinner reservations, a must in the amazing array of popular... More

We stayed at Jack and Annelise's beautiful home in March. I can't say enough about their outstanding hospitality. They welcomed us and our daughter with such care. The insider information about streets to walk and places to see and restaurants to eat at is priceless. Cocktail hour on the beautiful porch was a highlight every day. Everybody who worked at...
