A very nice place to stay in Charleston! It is within walking distance of everything in Charleston. Everything that is needed is provided. Indeed, the best part of the experience of staying at the Country Victorian is the hostess, Diane. She took care of our every need, gave us fantastic suggestions about where to eat and what to see, and... More

Thank you Diane for a wonderful weekend! This was the perfect spot for my husband and I to explore Charleston for the first time. Within walking distance to historic King street shopping, East Bay dining/entertainment and the Battery. Well-prepared and tasty breakfast along with mango/peach sweet tea on the piazza in the afternoon. Diane was wonderful in accommodating my husbands... More

We stayed three days at the Victorian Country B&B late April 2015. WE had the slaves quarters which was spacious, quiet, and had its own private upstairs porch with rocking chairs. It was located in the historic district with easy access to town, restaurants, bars, and sites. The free trolley ran nearby. Owner Diane Weed was a delight and prepared... More

Having read many reviews on this place, we do agree that the place is covered in antiques. If this is not to your liking then indeed you should not stay here. Personally we found them charming and interesting. The king bedroom, was very clean, comfortable, and we slept well.. We understood that the plumbing would be old and that care... More

We found the Tradd St. location to be the perfect center from which to explore Chaleston on foot. Our host served creative and delicious breakfast s and shared many helpful tips. She also had our room adorned with several interesting collections.

My daughter and I spent 4 nights at this delightful B&B. The room was very comfortable and pleasant. Diane served excellent, lovingly prepared and nutritious breakfasts (and always offered a second serving if we wanted). She displayed an encyclopedic knowledge of the city where she has lived for many years, and suggested well chosen restaurants according to the type of... More

A huge thank you to Diane for housing a wonderful weekend in Charleston. What an amazing historical home in a beautiful neighborhood just a few blocks from seemingly everything. We walked to and from most places and walked home from dinner in the evenings from king street and the market and felt very comfortable. My wife and I came here... More

My son and I recently stayed at the Charleston Victorian B&B for two nights in late August, 2014. This is truly an historic building, built in the 1820's, and the proprietor has maintained it in historic tradition. The dark pine wood floors sparkle. The rooms are pleasing and decorated in a loving manner. The beds were comfortable, the A/C was... More

We visited Charleston for the first time in June. Staying at Country Victorian was very nice - Diane is a charming lady who takes good care of her guests! Yes, there are some notes in the room reminding you to unplug electrical equipment and take off your shoes. We had absolutely no problem with that, she's basically just asking guests... More

My wife and I just got back from a three night stay in the Country Victorian. This ornate and interesting property is in the historic district of Charleston, so it is in walking distance from all main shopping, historical sites, restaurants, etc. The proprietor, Diane, is a hard working woman who keeps the property running well and clean. She is... More
