We stayed at the Charleston Suite of this building, which is located at the corner of Meeting & Hassel (above Sticky Fingers). I couldn't have found a better location for the price. The suite had a small kitchen and sitting area, a bedroom and a two-part bathroom. There was a balcony off of the sitting area with a staircase that... More

Long overdue review. My wife and I stayed here when we first starting dating back in Fall 2007. Management was very hands off, but we're not the type that are in constant need of pampering. The place was very clean and well appointed. While i have recently found a few of the units for rent on VRBO, I can't seem... More

Convenient walk to the Market in historic Charleston, SC. Colonial decor. 4 poster beds. Adequate space. Sumptuous breakfast buffet in the lobby. Very nice wine reception available each evening. It's one of the original inns in downtown Charleston. Fairly priced.

Everything about this place was beyond my expectations. The staff was most welcoming and helpful. The room was clean, up-to-date, and we loved the piazza where we could just sit and relax with their complimentary wine, cheese and hors' doeuvres in the late afternoons. Their bakery and hot breakfast goodies in the a.m. were fabulous and got our day started... More

My wife and I stayed here recently on a Friday and Saturday night. Meeting Street Inn is located in the historic section of Charleston. It was built around 1874. The location is perfect as it is close to many things and is within walking distance to many fine restaurants, visiting the harbor, shops, and art galleries. The room we stayed... More

Our suite(Soho) was larger than expected with modern decor and luxurious amenities such as surround sound system, jacuzzi, and large shower head. Our bedroom had a king bed with comfortable white linens, but no windows which was a positive to keep out sunlight and road noise. Don't look at the window sills(disgusting). Do not open the windows! 95% chance a... More

Our most recent visit to Meeting Street Suites, December 2006, was our third time. It will be our last! The level of management has gone downhill considerably. The room was not clean (shoe print on duvet, stains on carpet, etc.), we only had two towels for our 5 day stay, some of the light bulbs did not work, and we... More
