We stayed at the Inns of Charleston at Charleston AFB while visiting the city to attend a funeral. That might have set a bad tone for us. Our room was one of the smallest we've had while on a military installation. The AC was not working so a fan and an open window provided us with our climate control. They... More

As our arrival we were met with front desk staff who informed us the AC was out in the main building. We were told we could stay there as planned or move to their 'older, yet renovated' building in the back. We chose to move rooms due to it being summer in the south and being with out AC would... What can you say about accommodations that are 1/3 of the price I would have paid in town? Hubby and I were very Blessed to get accommodations during summer months from Sunday until Friday Morning. We booked this time, just in case we were unable to get a flight out to Rota Spain and we needed nearly every day of... More

I was impressed. The room was clean and had a queen bed, 2 dressers, a flat screen tv and DVD , a desk and chair plus another cushioned arm chair. There was plenty of lighting and outlets as well as a safe. The mini fridge also had a freezer compartment. There was a in room microwave and mini bar with... More

Great price for a stay about 14 miles from downtown Charleston. However, this place is in need of a renovation. On top of it there isn't any TV, they say there is a issue with their local provider. They need to clean the rooms better and add an elevator.

The front desk girl was really nice. We had a standard queen room and paid $53/night. It's near the BX and commissary which is convenient. The room had a mini fridge, microwave an ample space for my husband and I. As like most base lodging it is older but I always feel safer on base so we couldn't complain.

The hubby and I are on the last leg of our winter trip; decided to call Charleston AFB and see if a room was available. One was and we stayed one night. The standard room is great for a short stay; fridge, coffee maker, desk, flat screen TV and queen bed. Nice and clean and at $53/night, a deal. A... More
