We stayed at the Church Street Inn over Labor Day weekend of 2014. We went with the surprise booking option through Priceline, so we had no idea what to expect. We were so pleased. The room was comfortable, spacious, elegant. The hotel was within walking distance to lots of great restaurants, a theater, several churches, and the market. The courtyard... More

This is not a hotel but time share condo owned by Festiva Resorts. The location of the 'hotel' was extemely convenient, however, this was the only pro I could come up with. The condo was spacious, however, the furniture was old and the linens were worse than second hand quality. If you have valuables, the condo has a safe deposit... More

We stayed in a 2-bedroom unit #208, and from the looks of the property map, it may be the largest unit. It was very nice, classic decor, a huge, corner unit. Downstairs is kitchen, dining room, living room and full bath. Upstairs is master bedroom and bathroom and 2nd bedroom. Both are very large rooms and had "walk-outs" off both.... More

I've stayed here before -- the last time as refurbishing was beginning. I just checked into a refurbished unit & it's definitely not better. The 1-bdrm w/full bath is on the first level with the kitchen/living area upstairs. However, this 2-level unit has only 1 telephone! That's right -- the ONLY phone is beside the bed. So if you're in... More

So much about this lovely Inn is all about it's location! Everything in historical Charleston is within walking distance from here, and that's a lot! It is located right next to the Marketplace where a ton of shopping happens. If you're here on the weekend, it may stay a bit loud since the street is just below your window. Make... More

My best friend of 40 years and I took a road trip to Charleston, what a pleasure it was to stay with the folks at the Church Street Inn! The staff was fantastic and went out of their way to help us, upon check in with a problem with our reservation booked thru a "3rd. Party Website" Yes, it was... More

We had our daughter wedding in Charleston. We stayed at Church Street in the 2 bedroom and had a one bedroom. Everything was clean and all the items we needed. The staff went our of they way to help us and meet our needs. They accepted UPS packages for us. Stored flowers for the wedding. They help made the wedding... More

Each room is in fact a two level apartment, with a small kitchen which is equipped generously. The furnishing is very pleasant, and the location is superb, right in the heart of historic Charleston. Everything is within a walk. Valet parking with an access to my car at any time as many times as needed.

Stayed 3 nights recently. The reception /check-in was warm and welcoming, and all of the employees we interacted with were pleasant, professional, and always willing to help. Speaking of ‘help’, a forgotten-bag-in-the-cab situation had the potential to sink our plans for the weekend. The wonderful front desk assistant and the concierge helped fix the problem, and went above and beyond... More
