We were 3 women going to Charleston to celebrate our birthdays. The French Quarter Inn was wonderful! We split a junior suite which was beautiful and HUGE and had a HUGE bathroom as well. Everything was immaculate, the beds very comfortable, and the location was ideal. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfasts, happy hour and night time warm cookies! The staff... More

Stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed it so much we wished we had stayed longer. The location is close to all the great restaurants, craft market and trolley stop making it easy to enjoy the beautiful city. The staff are wonderful and the many food options are a real treat. Nice southern hospitality!

We only stayed 1 night the room was great, we had a suite with lounge and sofa bed. The location is in the old town and walking out was very easy. The staff really were great, very welcoming and friendly as were everyone we met in Charleston. We stayed here en route to universal and glad we didn't pass by... More

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights in July. The main lobby and spiral staircase are stunning. The photos on their website are very accurate. Though the included breakfast, m&m and jellybean station, happy hour and evening cookies were a nice treat (as well as the free wine, champagne, juices, lemonade, tea and coffee which were served most of... The French Quarter Inn has charming rooms, a delicious breakfast & weekend bloody mary (Charleston style, spicy and bold flavor), and a great location with convenient access to restaurants, carriage tours, local arts & crafts market, etc. Make sure to check out the "pillow menu" -- we liked the buckwheat pillows so much (excellent neck support) that we ordered some... We've stayed at the French Quarter Inn on three occasions! The staff is always friendly and welcoming. You're greeted with Champagne upon check-in! The Inn offers a delicious Happy Hour, complete morning breakfast, and evening liquor and snack. The rooms are well appointed and spacious. It's an elegant and warm place to stay!

I recently had the opportunity to recommend this hotel to an important client for a small getaway over the July 4th weekend. I had never booked clients here before, but it came well recommended by my colleagues, so even though I didn't have direct experience with the hotel, I felt comfortable with the arrangements. When my client came home, we... More

Excellent service, quality rooms and nice perks! I can't say enough about this place. Great location. We flew in the Charleston Airport, took a $40 cab ride and didn't think about a car for 3 days. We could walk to great restaurants and historic sites. Free bikes from hotel got us to farther locations. Worth the splurge!

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The AAA Four Diamond Inn's newly redesigned rooms are inspired by the old world elegance of a Parisian chateau set against the architectural backdrop of Charleston's classic French Quarter. Red medallion-patterned draperies and damask chenille upholstery in hues of black, white and gold create a rich distinction between the fabrics and furniture, of the highest quality.Among many other amenities, guests of the hotel enjoy complimentary items such as: champagne and lady fingers at check-in, an evening wine and cheese reception, freshly baked cookies and milk, evening turn down service and gourmet continental breakfast in the lobby or served to your room. The over-sized guest rooms, some with working fireplaces, private balconies, and whirlpool tubs, provide imagery of an era gone by, but still grants contemporary amenities a sophisticated traveler has come to expect. ... more   less
