We went to Charleston to visit the College of Charleston with our daughter. I wanted a hotel that wasn't too expensive but within walking distance and we were very pleased with the Hampton Inn. The Hampton Inn in downtown Charleston, SC was wonderful!! It was clean, the complimentary breakfast was fantastic, and the staff were extremely friendly! The hotel was in the perfect location for vacationers. The Visitors Center was right across the street and the DASH shuttle stopped across the street.
