The location was absolutely perfect! We stayed there 4 nights and can honestly say that I'd recommend it highly! The staff was so helpful, the breakfast was delicious and our room was quiet, clean and spacious! Great place to stay in Charleston!

Stayed 2 nights , had a very warm welcome at check-in, the staff were very friendly. The room was comfortable and although it faces the river and the busy main road, it was quiet inside the room and the view was pleasant . The hotel is very well maintained from the general area to the rooms. It can get very... More

Thank you so much for taking the time to review your stay. We appreciate your patronage of Hampton Inn. While I have no doubt had you stayed at this hotel, you would have had the same experience, I do just need to let everyone know that you stayed at another Hampton Inn so nobody thinks that we are a riverfront... The Hampton Inn is just barely on the edge of the Charleston Historic area, despite people saying it's "in the district." It's close enough to walk though, if you're in shape. Older people would find the walk to downtown long and in need of the free trolley system, which by the way, is pretty good. The Inn itself was very... More

Stayed 1 night first time at this hotel. Feels at home because of the service standards from the Hampton brand. It is undergoing exterior renovation so there's minor noise level and there seems to be a lack of parking spots or it has a high occupancy last night! Room 425 is facing east side and near elevator but a nice... More

I am so delighted that you enjoyed your stay at the Hampton Inn, but it was not ours based on the description of the room and interstates around you. I agree that Hampton Inn is a solid choice no matter where you are though and would like to thank you for your loyalty to our brand. Kevin Eichman General Manager... More

You know exactly what you are getting with a Hampton Inn and this one is a excellent example. Breakfast was well done and it is in an excellent location. The only problem we encountered was that we couldn't figure out how to work the AC. I thought I had it but it was very stuffy and hot over night. We... More

Staff was really nice. Visitor's center was right across the street. Within blocks to good restaurants. Staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome- especially bellman Henry. Staff set up more tables for breakfast to accommodate extra guests.

We were in Charleston for medical reasons and your staff was excellent. Our only issue was the room reserved was not available and with no food service in the hotel, we had to order and pick up dinner due to our disabled traveler.

It's that time when everything comes together and you have the pleasure of writing a review with no negatives. This hotel is great! Really good location, fabulous rooms, staff incredibly helpful and friendly, breakfast was the best we have had on our trip around the States so far, and the outside gardens and pool were well maintained and pleasant. Typical reliability fo Hampton Inn but breakfast may be slipping. Eggs were from some kind of carton or powder. No bacon the days we stayed...may have missed the rotation. Good idea to have premeasured waffle mix cups. Location is 15 minute walk to hub of tourist area. Not bad for us since we like to walk and had good access... More

Thank you so much for your business and review of our hotel. We do use the Standard Eggs required by Hampton and we will definitely look into making sure we are preparing them to the standards on the packaging. I hope everything else went well with your stay and we look forward to having you as a guest again soon.... More
