My wife and I recently stayed at the Courtyard Marriott on our first trip to Charleston. We would definitely recommend this hotel to all who are visiting Charleston. The staff was all very helpful in making our stay one to remember. It was an amazing trip and it is all thanks to Kevin and the Marriott Staff. Upon arriving we... More

We stayed at the Courtyard for a two night visit to Charleston, SC on business and a quick mid-summer sightseeing trip. The Concierge Kevin McQuade is Great and can provide lots of assistance and knowledge about what you should do, where you should go in the city and where you can eat. The hotel was very nice, comfortable, clean, well... More

We had a great stay in downtown Charleston. Our room was nice, housekeeping was good and all staff were very pleasant. We took advantage of the numerous "hints" all around the hotel to contact the concierge, Kevin McQuade. We've just lived overseas and traveled extensively for the past few years but Kevin helped take us on some great adventures. Go... More

We stayed at the Courtyard for one night while passing through Charleston. The hotel was a fantastic value for the location and amenities it provided. Check-in was quick and easy, with easily accesible on-site parking. The decor lent itself to the specific location and the hotel was clean and comfortable. Our room was large, well appointed and more importantly -... More

This hotel definitely exceeded my expectations for Courtyard Marriotts. Everything was very crisp and clean. The concierge had an amazing selection of informative materials and suggestions for building out an itinerary. He even spent a year coming up with great walking tours and hidden gems, including great photo opps. It was also in walking distance to EVERYTHING we wanted to... More

My family recently stayed for two nights. On the edge of the historic area, the hotel provided easy access to the July 4 fireworks, historic homes, fine restaurants and interesting shops. Parking is good; the lobby cafe provides Starbuck's lattes and several craft draft beers; the small pool was refreshing on a hot summer day. Make sure you check in... More

Located within walking distance of the bay and King St. Shopping with plenty of nearby restaurants. Just on the edge of the crowded downtown traffic. Love the new courtyard bistro lobby we encountered a storm so found haven in lobby bistro for drinks. Parking is very limited with significant cost as expected in city hotel.

The hotel was conveniently located for walking to historic sites and restaurants, hotel decor was crisp & modern, room was comfortably appointed, staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. But the most amazing experience... More

Clean room with awesome balcony view. Bed was super comfortable and would definitely stay there again. Hotel is downtown Charleston right in the middle of it all. Friendly staff and overall a great experience! The location and the price point make this hotel a no brainer if your looking for a hotel in downtown Charleston.

Service: Flawless Ambiance: Unrivaled Location: Any more in the center of things and you'd be sitting on top of the statue of Frank Marion - Andre the Giant looks on this spot with jealous eyes. Now let's get down to brass tacks: I really have to give it to the Charleston Courtyard. Not only did the staff go out of... More
