Although we have been to Charleston many times, this was our first time at this hotel. The location is great for walking just about anywhere in the historic district. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The Starbucks downstairs is well run and "just enough" in the morning before starting the day- too many great restaurants around town to fill... More

Decided to spend a week in charleston. Picked Courtyard to stay great location. Food is good mattress was slam wore out killed my wife's back and mine. Otherwise good experience. Convenient to many landmarks and the college as we found to our chagrin since they were graduating that weekend. Only stayed 2out of the 6scheduled days

We were greeted by friendly staff which was very accommodating to our every need. The hotel itself is in easy walking distance of King Street and a number of fine restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Am a Marriott Gold Card member and choose the Courtyard Marriott in Charleston for points but it was a great location and the lobby is more than I expected from a Courtyard. Room large and comfortable but the crowning glory to this hotel is their Concierge Kevin McQuade. Kevin spent over an hour with us planning each of our three... More

This hotel has all the amenities you need for a visit to Charleston and it is located in the Historic District. They have a wonderful Concierge that helped my clients with everything they needed to tour Charleston with a walking tour and a tour by Trolley. He gave them tips on places to eat and where to buy things as... More

Arriving at this centrally located palace we knew we were about to experience something special by the meticulously manicured grounds. Meril, the bellman, made my girlfriend and I feel like we were Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie arriving for a red carpet premiere. Check-In was a breeze thanks to Candace, and we were able to park our own car right... More

Stayed here this weekend- first time as everything else was booked. Pulled up to see employee sitting in a rocker in the porch eating his lunch from a bag. No valet parking. Get to room- (402) reeked of mildew. Ordered a French toast in bistro- took 20 minutes- came out cold- and stale. wifi useless. So disappointed in this experience.... More

Have just returned home from a truly memorable trip. It was a girls getaway celebrating our 50th birthdays this year. The hotel was consistent with the Courtyard property. Very clean, comfortable and friendly staff. But it was the service given by Kevin the concierge that made this trip the trip of a lifetime. He spent over an hour on the... More

Shocked to read others' reviews. It doesn't sound like our experience. First, the location is not great, many blocks away from the restaurants and sights. We are Marriott Rewards members. For $300.00 a night, we expected a nicer hotel. The furniture was nicked and shoddy, the balcony chairs not fit to sit in for fear of breakage, the shower curtain... More

Dear Sandra7316, Thank you taking the time to provide feedback about your recent stay. I am very sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay at our hotel and that you had a less than satisfactory experience.
