In addition to be a great location, this hotel has a concierge like no other! Kevin McQuade set up dinner for us after a long day of travel. His recommendation, 39 Rue de Jean was excellent! We had one day to see Charleston and he made sure we saw the best spots and even booked an excellent lunch at Cru... More

Southern hospitality is clearly evident at every level of service. From reception (Emily and Candace were great), to housekeeping, to the concierges Kevin and Andrea. They are all dedicated to making your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Kevin McQuade is the very approachable and highly organized head concierge. He can maximize your stay in Charleston so that you can see and... More

Was there for 2 nights starting 9/12/14, the room was tiny, 325 sq ft, with a balcony that would be tight for a dog. Due to the balcony, not AARP discount was allowed and they called it a suite. I felt completely deceived and would never return. Staff was very friendly, but the hotel was old with an update (lipstick... More

We will definitely be going back to The Marriott Courtyard because of the care and attention that we received from the Head Concierge, Kevin McQuade. We had been to Charleston before and were skeptical about trying some new tours. We are a family of six and Kevin asked us to try a walking tour with Mr. Ed Macy. The kids... More

Visited here with a friend who had never been to Charleston. This hotel has been recently redone, and especially appreciated the helpfulness of the staff/ concierge,as well as it's location- which is within walking distance to most of the sites!

The check-in / check-out staff are very helpful and friendly - they make me feel at home. The Bistro staff are wonderful. My breakfast experience has been great and the ladies have become a part of my staff that look forward to. They make my morning which helps me get thru the day. I would highly recommend this hotel and... More

All of our friends and relatives highly recommended visiting Charleston..we started by doing alot of research of the area. When we located the hotel of our choice, we were impressed by the reviews on Trip Advisor which highlighted the amazing efforts of Kevin, the concierge. So, we contacted Kevin who consulted with us on the phone for almost an hour... More

A friend and I visited Charleston last weekend, and chose this hotel because of the rave reviews for their Chief Concierge, Kevin McQuade. Our expectations were high, but Kevin exceeded them. His enthusiasm, knowledge, and most of all his thoughtfulness were fantastic. His fellow concierge Adrianna was wonderful as well. Whether you don't like to make plans, or have your... More

I came to Charleston over Labor Day weekend with the ambitious intentions of seeing--and tasting--everything. To my dismay, the charming town was packed for the holiday, and my boyfriend and I made the rookie mistake of not booking a single thing prior! All the restaurants and tours we had researched were filling up fast or not available. Thankfully, the concierge... More

The most outstanding part of our experience at the Courtyard by Marriott was our experience with the concierge, Kevin McQuade, and the activities and meals he was able to set us up with. To say that Kevin is both enthusiastic and knowledgeable is a complete understatement. He was extremely diligent and communicative, and dedicated to ensure my friend and I... More
