This is just a standard Courtyard property….clean room although not very large. I am a Marriott Platinum member and of all Marriott properties, and I tend to shy away from Courtyards. They charge a lot and offer few amenities. This particular property has location going for it, but it is not in the historic area… it is about four blocks... More

Service level for this price and location could be better. add a valet and lobby service. Also could use better coffee in the rooms. Concierge was very enthusiastic and helpful. More

New hotel, nice rooms, good cafe, and most important, Kevin! The best concierge ever. He knows this town (and can help with Savannah and Beaufort), and recommends according to tastes. Even found us a vegan friendly place for lunch. More

My girlfriend and I stayed here one night recently on a quick trip to Charleston (only 75 minutes away from where we live). The check-in process with Rohan (I think?) was outstanding, friendly, and very professional; worthy of five-star hotels. Parking was in the rear of the hotel, $14 for the day, which is not bad at all. There was... More

Dear Beaufort-Tiger, Thank you very much for your review and for joining us for a quick visit. It sounded like you had a wonderful Valentines day! We appreciate the feedback so much and for your noticing the details that really do separate the 4 from the 5 star. We are confident that we are on the right track to nailing... More

This hotel is beautiful, Marriott has done a nice job. One major drawback is the room set up. For some reason Marriott decided to put the TV where only one person can see it on a king size bed. Overall a good time, would like to know what parking rate was before I checked in. Sort of irritating, More

Dear Jiovette H, Thanks for your review and for your business. We appreciate you noticing how our transformation to a Courtyard by Marriott has been a great improvement. We apologize for not giving you clear information on parking at check-in and we are working to be very detailed on our script that we use with every guest. Hope to see... More

So, the styling of the rooms and hotel were great. Very modern. Nice lobby with lots of room to sit. Good pantry to buy some snacks, including a microwave and frozen items. The concierge, Kevin, was a tireless worker and gave great suggestions. But, I couldn't figure out how to use the air/heating in-room system. It was not a normal... More

This past January, my friends and I finally left Chicago for our much anticipated Golf trip to Charleston. Wow- - is the first thing that comes to mind. I had never been to Charleston before and had no idea what to expect. I certainly didn't expect to land at the best Hotel in one of the most fun towns this... More

The hotel is within walking distance of the city’s wonderful historic district and many restaurants and shops. The rooms have been renovated and include modern touches such as ample electric outlets and video inputs for computers as part of the desk. The flat screen TV included the local channels and some others including ESPN in high definition. Channels were navigated... More

My mom and I wanted to get away for a couple of days and had seen all of the Great reviews on Trip Advisor. Got a great rate for a couple of days stay last minute, booked about a week before our stay. We paid to park our car at the hotel and walked everywhere. We did take a cab... More

Recently traveled to Charleston with two girlfriends for a long weekend. The Marriott is a lovely property, conveniently located within walking distance of great restaurants, shopping, and the houses, gardens and churches of "enchanting" Charleston. The rooms are clean and beautifully appointed and the staff is courteous and responsive. What makes the Marriott truly standout, however, is the service provided... More
