Stayed here for 4 nights and found the hotel to be located walking distance to everything. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The lobby bistro was great for a quick and easy breakfast and the bar was a nice convenience. I didn't use the pool or gym, I was too busy exploring Charleston, but if I had wanted to... More

Stayed here for 4 nights and was very comfortable. They've got a terrific concierge service that goes above and beyond the expected, so take advantage! My room is large and comfortable, bathroom could use some updating. Good central location. Breakfast options quick and tasty! Everyone friendly. This is a well functioning property. Nothing remarkable about it's decor or setting, but... More

I spent 5 nights here last week and found this property to fit my needs very well. I had a room in the back on the 5th floor that was close to the elevator. The room was updated, very clean and quite large. the location of the hotel is so centrally located that I found it very easy to walk... More

The Courtyard is located in a perfect location for exploring the history and charm of Charleston. I am extremely excited about the concierge Kevin. His insight and tips to seeing the city is TOPS. He also had the location of all the bathrooms in the city which really pleased my wife. If you are staying in Charleston this is the... More

Friendly staff, quiet property, good business hotel within walking distance of good restaurants. Typical Courtyard property - rooms and common areas in good condition. Would be a bit of a hike to the Battery, but just a few short blocks to the College of Charleston.

We spent 4 nights here. Had a wonderful stay. Hotel did not disappoint at all. Walked to many restaurants. It is a little bit of a walk to the battery area but took a cab back, only $10 which isn't bad at all. Staff very nice and helpful. Will stay here again

My girlfriend and I traveled to Charleston for a long weekend (THURS-SUN), and couldn't have been more pleased with our experience at the Courtyard Historic District. The staff was friendly, polite, and seemed to have a very good handle on their responsibilities - no doubt a result of good management behind the scenes. Our room was very nice, complete with... If you are expecting a drink after 10 PM then you can forget it. Apparently the waitress has had a hard 7 hour day and she has to go home as she has a family. Well, that’s okay then. And here was I thinking I was a paying customer. Wrong.

The location is very convenient to restaurants, meeting center, museum, aquarium. Staff was nice and helpful. Room was clean, but had some funny smell. (Room #211) Popcorn ceiling is peeling away. Water damage? Sink does not work properly. Mattresses are squeaky. Parking is limited and it is $18 a day. We did not get the room we booked, but they... More

We decided to visit Charleston Christmas week, the pre Christmas rate was a fair rate, for the location and amenities; however, the rate doubled from Christmas Day through New Year's Day, which is ridiculous. Every staff member, from desk clerks to maids, was cheerful and helpful. We were particularly impressed with wait staff and bartenders, steered us to their favorite... More
