Just came back from 4 days of camping at this beautiful campground. My granddaughters loved the climbing wall and playground. Nice hiking trails and great biking. Laundry and bathroom facilities were great. Will surely make a return trip.

We stayed at the James Island County Park Campground in mid February. It was a beautiful campground and the bathrooms were very clean. The hiking/biking trails were very nice and look forward to many return trips to check out Charleston.

James Island park and campground is one of the BEST camping facilities we have visited. They are ALL about providing an exceptional experience to the family. Activities for kids, adults, crabbing, cycling (bikes for hire), waterpark, shuttle service, more, more, more. You cannot go wrong with this home away from home.

Clean, friendly and so much to do for all ages. The best time of year is the festival of lights, November through January.
