My wife and I stayed at this B&B last June. The location is excellent for dining and viewing restaurants in the city. Our room was on the first floor near the rear of the property. It was large enough to accommodate six guests. Several other rooms were occupied while we were there but it wasn't noisy. The bed was comfortable.... More

I cannot say enough good things about 36 Meeting Street or Vic and Anne Brandt. We stayed in the Moultrie suite and although it was very warm outside the room was nice and cool. The room was well decorated and I loved the closet being converted into a small kitchen area so we could have coffee or something to eat... More

We stayed in a nice size room with a piazza-an excellent example of a Charleston single house. W accessed the porch from the bedroom and could enjoy the breeze while sipping drinks in the evening or morning coffee.

This is a great place to stay in Charleston. The location is perfect since you are right in the middle of the historic district. I agree that it is just like being a resident since you have private off street parking, a quiet courtyard, and stay in an original, historic residence. We stayed in the Moultrie Suite which has a... My wife and I stayed here while visiting Charleston in April. Our niece attends the College of Charleston and this grand home was located within walking distance of practically everything! You can't go wrong staying here. We were in the main house in the upstairs bedroom and had a 2nd floor porch overlooking Meeting Street. What a great way to... More

We have been staying at 36 Meeting Street for years! It's a wonderful place for just a couple or for the whole family. Their rooms/suites are warm and comfortable and each one is completely different (but keep in mind the age of the house doesn't permit "spa" baths!). A charming courtyard made a perfect spot for afternoon wine & cheese... More

We rented out all 3 rooms for a Thanksgiving weekend family trip to Charleston. We had a lovely time. All of the rooms were nice and clean. Parking, both in the driveway and on the street, was very convenient. The location is perfect as you can easily walk to the restaurants on Broad Street, down to the Battery, and just... More

Anne and Vic Brandt run a first class place. Close to everything. We parked and walked to everything. Very nice historic home. Comfortable, nice continental breakfast items. Very lovely people who showed us around their home. Southern hospitality at its best!

What a pretty street and location. The little courtyard is pretty and sweet. The main home is beautiful. We stayed in room 2 upstairs. It was very specious and decorated in a charming historic manner. The owners/keepers were so helpful and pleasant. I really enjoyed speaking with them and getting their opinion on restaurants and attractions. This was a great... More
