Do yourself a favor and book a room here. You will love the atmosphere, location and view. You get the whole third floor which includes a completely stocked kitchen. Unlike most B&B's, this allowed us to eat at our convenience. There was so much to eat for breakfast everyday that we often skipped lunch. The rooms were well maintained and... more

We just got back from a couple of days in Charleston and we stayed at Zero Water Street. I’m not good about posting when I get home, but this time I have to. I had heard about the piazza and it was awesome, but somehow I had not heard about the living room. Imagine my surprise! When I walked into... more

I had a wonderful time staying at zero water street. You are getting an apartment, complete with kitchen, washer and dryer and a large veranda. The veranda overlooks Charleston harbor and you can see Fort Sumter in the distance. I would spend about an hour a day drinking tea and watching the boat activity in the harbor and the people... more

My Husband first found this B&B back in 2001on our very first trip to Charleston. We have been coming back every year since. We would Never consider staying anywhere else in Charleston. The 1836 Antebellum Mansion not only has breathtaking views of the Harbor, the Famous Battery and Ft. Sumter it has owners that make you feel that you are... more

We have stayed at numerous B&Bs in Charleston. We LOVE this B and B and now only choose Zero Water Street for our visits. Great location on the Battery. Very quiet. Our suite was an apartment. They provided breakfast (as everyone has described-simple) The best part is the Piazza overlooking the waterfront. Our experience with the caretakers was completely different... more

Having just returned from another weekend in the Holy City, I would have to say that our stay at Zero Water Street was wonderful. The suite was lovely, appointed very nicely and very comfortable. The views and the sounds [such as the frequent carriages passing from below on E.Bay Street] are breathtaking! The innkeepers are very friendly, but not intrusive.... more

Great!!! An entire top floor with a huge covered porch. A full kitchen with bottled water, snacks, coffee, juice, rolls, fruit cups all provided. Private bath, sitting room, entryway, and huge bedroom. All decorated beautifully. Really nice having a private entrance also. The owners were friendly, but do not invade your privacy, allowing you to enjoy yourself without feeling like... more

Zero Water Street provided the right blend of history, elegance, beauty, and tradition of the Battery in Charleston. Well worth the extra money, the 3rd floor Harbor Suite IS the place to stay while in Charleston. The Geer family has opened up this wonderful mansion for all of us to experience while visiting this very special city. We will be... more

Zero Water Street was a lovely place to stay, and convieniently located on the Battery. The Palmetto Suite was spacious with a breakfast room and private piazza overlooking the harbor. The service however was not so stunning. We found the breakfasts to be rather dull - they are put out the night before (which was convienent in that you could... more

The inn is lovely from afar and located perfectly. Although the guest rooms are in the upstairs of the mansion, the elegant parlor, etc., are off limits to guests. Innkeepers seem to want to keep it to themselves and are not overly friendly. Our room was a good size, had private porch which was perfect for relaxing, but the room... more
